__________
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)

Q: I did not apply by mail or online, can I go straight to the exam center on exam day as a walk-in applicant?
A: YES, but you will be last priority. Priority will be given to regular applicants as proctors bring only a limited number of exam materials. We encourage you to go to the exam center a day before or very early on the exam day to have better chances of getting accommodated.

Q: How much is the fee to take the exam?
A: There are NO FEES. The exam is FREE.

Q: How long is the exam?
A: On examination day, the whole morning (7am to 11am) will be for administrative aspects of the exam (filling-up of forms, limited physical examination, etc). The exam proper starts at exactly 12:00 noon and will last up to 4.30 pm.

Q: I am currently a Grade 12 student, can I submit my Form 137 from Grade 11?
A: YES, but make sure you will be able to graduate from Grade 12 before 01 June 2020.

Q: My grade is below 85%, can I still take the PMAEE?
A: There are no guarantees, but you can try as a walk-in applicant.

Q: Is my school ID considered a valid ID?
A: YES.

Q: I realize that I am already over-aged as I will be 23 years old come 01 June 2020. Is there any way for me to still be able to join the Armed Forces?
A: YES, there are other options that you can explore. For example, if you finish a baccalaureate degree course, you can apply for the Officer Candidate Course and serve as an officer once you graduate. You can also apply for the Candidate Soldier Course if you are just a high school graduate or if you have only taken a few units in college.
