All colours are beautiful, the human skin colour. Black and the darkest browns to the lightest hues of pigmntation. An imagination that can include all colour variations in the progress of the human condition is one that is fit for the future of humanity.
In all that we do, to remember that one’s skin colour is influenced by numerous factors that are determined before one is born. We need all palettes of skin tone for our future Leagues of Greatness.

Social unrest has caused professional sports to come to a halt, leagues including the NBA, WNBA, MLB and the MLS have all cancelled games due the racial political climate in the United States of America. The cancellations underscore an emerging new reality that leagues and players do not exist outside of global issues. Currently the NHL has no plans to postpone games.

‘Pull your self up by the Bootstraps’ A phrase that has its origins in the 1800’s and refers to the ability of a person to lift him or herself up by just pulling on the laces of his or her boots.
An idea that you could improve your situation through hard work and self determination rather than having outside assistance. Upward mobility! In the 21st Century we now know it is more than just hard work that determines the outcomes of a countries citizens.
Together we can work towards levelling the playing field for all the Worlds people through equality & justice.

August 1st 1834 marks the end of slavery in the British Colonies. Emancipation Day commemorates the Abolition of the Slavery which became law on this day.
Many former European colonies in the Caribbean commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people of African decent on Emancipation Day as well as the abolition of serfdom and other forms of involuntary servitude.
We celebrate with the entire Globe on this day. Happy Emancipation Day 2020.
