Blue colour activity for toddlers

đ
Learning colours is one of the earliest cognitive skills children develop and it provides a foundation for learning math, science and language skills later in life. Although children can physically see colour from a young age, most start learning to recognise and differentiate between different colours between 18 months and 3 years of age. The toddler years are the perfect time to start actively teaching colours
Using balls makes it easier for toddlers to start sorting a number of different colours into specific areas by giving them a colour coordinated defined space. This is particularly useful for toddlers who are in the enclosure/ play schema and love transferring balls

ANTI-GRAVITY EXPERIMENT
A milk bottle is filled with water then a ping pong ball placed on the top. When up-turned the water stays in the bottle as the large surface area of the ping pong ball means that the force acting on it is greater than the pull of gravity on the water
This fun Anti-Gravity Ping Pong Ball Science Experiment is sure to grab your kids attention while teaching about Gravity

Junior classes are so much fun and even more active, with greater emphasis on cognitive and motor skills. Themes drawn from life experiences allow each individual child to express their creativity and imagination. Activities support increased independence and emotional understanding, building the confidence and skills they will need for later learning.

Toddler learning about body part
This week was a blast because not only they were showing me that they were learning, playing, and having fun doing so, but they could even show their parent what they were learning. Kids are such a ham and loves to entertain people, so they loved telling everyone where their eyes, noses, and knees were! Plus, this week was a fun week to explore movement since our bodies were made to move. You can bet that our class was rocking and rolling all week long!
Thank you parent for your support and love

Thereâs no specific age to start teaching your child about the parts of the body. Sometimes, your baby might tend to know the parts himself by listening to body parts song for children. These can establish in him making attempts to touch his nose when you touch your own. Babies learn a lot through mimicking sounds and gestures, and they will be able to identify many parts, even if they canât name them on their own.

Toddlers explore their surroundings with fingers and hands, often getting into everything within reach. A finger painting activity is a great way to encourage some hands-on discovery with the added benefit of fine motor and sensory play

We have by now all heard the best way to prevent catching the coronavirus is by making sure to properly wash hands. Easy, right? Well, for small children, and their parents, handwashing is not exactly the easiest task. It has to be taught. Itâs especially important now, of course, because even though children donât seem to be getting hit hard by this virus yet, they are major germ carriers. So teaching them to wash their hands helps not only them but everyone who comes in contact with them.
Parents and teacher play an important role in teaching children to wash their hands. Explain that hand washing can keep them healthy and stop the virus from spreading to others.
So how do we teach these amazingly wonderful and absolutely germ-filled little people how (and why) to wash their hands regularly? We make it fun, and let them know this is a regular part of our lives

Sound Boxes. An amazingly fun and fairly simple material from the Sensorial Area of the classroom that helps children hone their Auditory Senses. Very early in their life, children will start to identify rhythm and even move to the beats of music. After all, music is meant to touch our souls! Besides that, music provides cognitive benefits that support childrenâs early development

Fine motorâ refers to the movements we make with the small muscles of the hands. Children start to use their hands right at birth to explore their own bodies and the world around them. Their fine motor skills develop as their whole body starts to move and become more stable. They also learn to do more things with their hands as their cognitive and social/emotional skills improve this activity builds pincer strength

Rubber Band Play is a simple fine motor activity for toddlers It strengthens the hand muscles and develops hand-eye coordination, concentration skills. đ˛ #9173468080
Playing with coloured rice is particularly good for developing childrenâs fine motor skills, that is the skills to control the movement of their fingers and manipulate pencils while writing and pages of books while reading. Most obviously manipulating the tiny grains of rice is a great way for children to develop their pincer grip (only the thumb and index finger) and develop the fine muscles in their fingers which control these movements. Toddlers may begin by grabbing fistfuls of rice, but as they grow and develop their finger movements and the ability to pick a single grain of rice up using pincer grip will develop
and imaginative writing
New exciting workshops are there so donât miss
