The final result of last nights very tasty veggie curry!
Tonight we make a veggie vegan curry! Using all the veg we have to hand and some tasty spices!
The finished result! A very flavoursome and good for you vegan veggie lasagne. Quick and cheap to make and amazing to eat!
Thank you to the amazingly kind who helped us through our toughest times recently. This amazing vegan platter was outstanding and if you haven’t tried this mouth-watering tasteful ray of Caribbean/Jamaican dancing on your tongue then get down there and see what we mean. The plantain/banana textured dish was so sweet and weaved perfectly in and out of the beautiful bean rice with spicy potatoes and a coconut curry styled treasure finished with chickpeas. PBA was very nervous about trying this as she doesn’t travel with world foods, but this meal absolutely kicked it out the park. Please head on over to ABH to find out more. We added home-made chips with vegan plant menu dippers and extra beans and chick peas.🖤🤤
Yesterday we arrived back in the place that our hearts stayed and never left - Cornwall! We had the absolute pleasure of having the vegan pulled pork slaw burger with chips which LVegan had and then the hot dog and chips that Plant Based Ace had at . LVegan was over the moon to be able to have this deliciously and well-crafted burger filled with the creamiest of all slaws! 🍔 Plant Based Ace’s hotdog was delicious - although not what she was hoping for with a typical hot-dog this did not disappoint! The herby taste of the hot dog blended with the crunchiest of lettuce leaves was mouthwatering with every bite. 🌭 Sometimes PBA likes it plain, so she was very pleased with this one! Thank you to it was a pleasure and we cannot wait to visit again! Also the staff are lovely! 🥰🌱🤤
Today we had an amazing vegan afternoon tea for PBA’s Auntie’s 60th Birthday at . Absolutely beautiful place with incredible customer service and even better devine food! The starter was a rice ball type savoury snack with the avocado twirl and the hummus both on bread. The cream tea was vegan cream and strawberry jam with beautifully created vegan scones tasting light and fluffy mixing incredibly with the cream and jam. The sandwiches were cucumber, hummus, and tomato and vegan cheese. All three light and soft leaving you wanting more! Then the cakes were vegan carrot cake, vegan chocolate cake, vegan lemon cake, and vegan rice crispy style cake, all very flavoursome leaving your mouth watering and completely irresistible. We will definitely be going again and are extremely impressed with the service provided. Not to forget the lovely vegan lattes we had to finish it all off perfectly! 🤤🌱🍰🫖
A surprise engagement celebration from our family who made us homemade vegan pizza which tasted absolutely amazing! 🍕 With garlic bread, Vegan sausage rolls, cucumber 🥒, olives 🫒 & peppers 🫑. It was absolutely delicious and we can’t thank our family enough. Even Enzo fancied the vegan food! 😍🤤
So a week ago today LVegan proposed to Plant Based Ace and we wanted to share our news and post we did a week ago today with you all! Here it’s is :
Today was a very special indeed for us as it’s our 5th Anniversary and LVegan proposed to Plant Based Ace!! We celebrated with the cutest heart fried egg baps at by the very lovely and wonderful who made our anniversary / engagement that bit more special! Tasted amazing as always! Very touching and personal, we cannot thank you enough! LVegan also got us a lovely handmade momentum to remember our special day and where it was after our baps made by the lovely .shop. 🥰🖤🌱
Tonight’s light pasta dinner spaghetti and Wicked black olive pesto with chick peas, lentils, cauliflower and broccoli for PBA and LV had spaghetti, Sainsbury’s own tomato and garlic sauce with sweet corn & ‘vince’. 🍝🥦🌽🌱🍽
So over a week ago we had a lovely family lunch in the garden featuring Bakery’s magical rainbow bagels, with bean pastrami, chicken and ham slices, Pioneers cocktail sausages and scotch eggs, and our very own first hand~made mini pies including Broccoli, Califlower & Cheese and Vegetarian Butcher’s chicken pieces & mushroom in gravy. These came out really well for a first time and was great making them! We even made bagels with Tesco’s free from cream cheese, the meat alternatives, spinach and avocado. It was lovely! (PBA ~ a.k.a Plant Based Ace) 🤤🥰 🥯🥦🥑
Yesterday (Wednesday) is Fry Up day in our house! All vegan with fresh bread, hash browns, potato waffle, onion rings, Linda McCartney Foods sausage and .uk bacon with mushrooms and beans! The best way to start a day! Delicious! 🌱
If you don’t get a vegan prehistoric dinner then you are not living! This amazing meal was lovingly made by us using mashed carrot lava volcano for one and mashed potato volcano erupting with beans for the other and an assortment of veg! It was also a brilliant make use of vegan dinosaurs which as big Jurassic Park nuts and 90s kids we have been waiting ages for!
Happy Earth Day! Great day to start our page! Go vegan and help make a better future for our planet, animals, humans.
