Hi! So refreshing to say, “I’m on my way to work! “. It’s been a month and I’m officially allowed as per Dr’s order. Will be a hurado in today’s Tawag ng Tanghalan! So excited!!! 😆 p.s. I’m wearing ballet flats so don’t worry and I’ll be seated mostly today. Love you 🥰
Saturdate! Trying Intermittent fasting with and also trying to eat meat on weekends only so when he asked me where I wanted to eat, of course I chose where there would be steak! I saw croissant 🥐 review on tiktok so passed by Bake House. Ok. I’ll be full till hopefully my last meal at 6pm! P.S. poor Conrad hurt his eye using the wrong solution for contacts! Bummer
Thank you, Singapore! Hard to believe it’s been 2 weeks since I had major surgery! Thank you to all my doctors and nurses at Mt E Rosary. Going home with a grateful heart. 💕
❤️ ♥️ 💜 See ya next month!

Karylle to star in new reality show 'Manila Matriarchs' 'It’s Showtime' host and singer Karylle is set to star in a new reality show titled 'Manila Matriarchs.'
Thank you to everyone who sent messages and prayed for my quick recovery. ❤️🩹
This was taken a few minutes ago after the clinic took out my catheter. My doctor asked if was taking collagen ‘coz I healed pretty well. I take a lot of supplements!
Everyone seems amazed how I was walking day after the surgery. My stomach is filled with battle scars (so is my back), but hey, happy to be around and wish to be around for many more years.
Btw, my Dr told me the procedure done was ROBOTIC LEFT URETERIC REIMPLANTATION & INSERTION OF LEFT DJ STENT. I don’t have a rare kidney disease- read it somewhere- so it’s not true. I was just born structurally different. 🙂
Will be back in Singapore end of September to have my DJ Stent removed. Then I can go back to moving normally- playing badminton and performing on stage. Take care! Love and light 💕🙏🏼
Just want to share a poem I came across before I had my surgery. Hope it serves to enlighten you as it did me. May God bless us all! “Battles” © 2018 by Christine Evangelou
You don’t need to fight everything
Or everyone
Fists clenched, heart in constant defence
The internal terrorist
Cursing every fall, each façade and pretence
And the opposing forces that living fully portends
Sometimes the wisest choice is to reset
Withdraw to your inner compass
Retreat inwardly as far as you can go
Focus on your heart
Beautify your mind
Stargaze and make wishes
Remain vulnerable enough to take a chance
Invoke every cell of magic within you
And pray that your dreams will be your reality someday
Because, sometimes, it’s just ghosts that you are at war with
Your own,
Other peoples,
The world’s hell of false living
The quiet invaders that perplex
The very human holes and conflicts that permeate and churn within
And the spectres that chill the warmest parts of your soul
Sometimes, victory is simply embracing what is
Loving yourself as you are
Meeting others where they are
And then through every hurt, misdeed, reckless act and crashed hope
Choosing to begin again
Becoming your own sage counsel
Strengthening your wings, setting your heart ablaze
Knowing that the biggest battle
Is not the one outside your door
It is the battle of self
And that is an inner war only won through kindness, empathy,
And enduring all the misty, murky pieces of life
So you can create a pathway
Your indomitable bridge to brighter things
As you forgo the trespass, these heavy treads upon your soul
Win your way through the struggle Mighty heart
Because this world needs its warriors of peace and lovers of dreams
And it will be charmed by what you bring…
Remember, when there is no antagonist within,
There is no war, no foe outside of you either
I was born with a mega ureter. My left ureter was the size of a sausage when it should be a thin tubular structure with a 3 to 4 mm diameter. My right one is normal. I like how my new doctor describe it as- “you have a structural problem” instead of my usual “ I was born with a defective left ureter”.
It has bothered me for as long as I can remember. I was often scolded as a child “kasi pinipigilan mo wiwi mo” and I thought while sitting on “maligamgam” water in a small planggana that it was partly true since I’d rather be playing in the streets and holding my p*e than going to the bathroom!
For many years, I’ve had endless battles with UTI (urinary track infection) and taking oral antibiotics became routine. They had no proper machine in the Philippines while I was growing up and doctors only saw my real problem in 2007!
So, my first surgery to correct this problem was 17 years ago. Right after filming Zsa Zsa Zaturnah in 2007, I underwent open surgery to finally correct my left ureter. It was tapered and reinserted in my bladder.
Last year, the infection I was having was harder to cure. I became resistant to most antibiotics and tests showed that I was already having a (p*e) reflux and the function of my left kidney was so much lower than my usual.
I went to the US in January but was advised not to have surgery. I was disappointed because I didn’t know what to do about my problem.
Six months after, the infections started again and took 3 weeks for the low dose of antibiotics to kick in. Of course I was already resistant to most antibiotics and I felt that it was only a “band aid” to my bigger problem. And honestly, you’ve noticed the weight gain, right?
I then thought of Singapore since I heard of people going here for their medical needs, and asked my friend, Alice Eduardo to give me a recommendation. They gave me an office number that’s based in Manila. And they coordinated with Doctors who could help me with my problem… (continued on comments page)
Conrad will be spending his birthday taking care of me. Such a selfless act. I can’t begin to tell you how busy this man is. But would drop everything- literally everything to be by my side. And for that I am eternally grateful. I have found my life partner indeed. I thank God for you! You are my champion and my rock.
Please greet him a happy birthday he will be erhem* years old on Saturday, the 17th. 😊😊🤩😝
During our second night in Graton, the big bosses came to see the show! So proud of Sharon who sang effortlessly to another full house.
