Congratulations to Blackbird!
Blackbird implemented an equal parental leave policy. We removed primary and secondary classifications. We increased our paid leave entitlement to 20 weeks for all parents, with an additional 4 weeks for birth-givers. Leave can be taken over 2 years and there is no minimum tenure. We've given IVF, adoption and surrogacy leave to support parents going down these paths. We support the transition back to work by paying an additional day for the first 3 months.
In the tragic circumstances of pregnancy loss parents have access to the full policy. Finally, we open sourced our policy to the community.

Congratulations to Inspiring Vacations !
One feature of our hybrid model, among several wellbeing initiatives and flexible working practices, is ‘work from anywhere’ for some of the year. This was used recently by an employee with three months working in Europe, travelling the continent in between compressed working weeks.
We’re not the only ones: Google and KPMG are just a few global companies adopting a work from anywhere policy. As a business that’s open 24/7, these arrangements can align with business needs; team members in a different time zone work while head office staff in Melbourne are sleeping, keeping projects moving.
