Meet Michael Manion, a true hero in every sense. 🎖️ After 22 years of dedicated service in the Army, retiring as a 1st Sergeant in 2013, Michael's journey took an unexpected turn. Struggling with weight, emotional disconnection, and the overwhelming burden of post-military life, he found himself at a crossroads.

"I found myself five years after the military, I was damn near 300 pounds and drinking and emotionally disconnected from myself, you know, from my family and everything around me, lacking purpose and suicidal," Michael shares.

But Michael's story doesn't end there. He discovered healing through plant medicine, which transformed his life in ways he never imagined possible. Reflecting on his journey, he remarked, "You just have to lean into some of that pain because right on the other side of it is the true joy that you're here to experience."

Today, Michael is the founder and director of Healing Frontline Heroes Mexico, dedicated to supporting veterans through psychedelic therapy, offering hope and healing where it's needed most.

In a recent piece with Sensi Magazine our own Jamie Blazquez went to learn about the amazing work Healing Frontline Heroes is doing to help Veterans heal. Its a quick read, make sure to check it out!

Healing Frontline Heroes is bringing veterans from Arizona to Mexico to heal with psychedelics with the help of the Seri Tribe! Its an incredible story. Even though Jamie came there just to learn, she ended up having an incredibly transformative psychedelic experience of her own.

When we were invited to "Spirituality and Beyond" in Oakland, our mindset was just open. We had a booth. And we had a few nice cameras.

Deidra came up to us and had something she wanted to share. She worked as an ER nurse for many years in the hospital - what a high pressure job.

But what she talked about was more about what she witnessed as a child watching her veterinarian father work with animals in pain.

What comes up during a psychedelic journey is not always what we expect.

When we first started the Normalize Psychedelics Project, I was pro plant medicine, but I didn't know a thing about decriminalization or why it is important.

It took me months to understand the message of Decrim and how it gives power to the people.

Adrienne is a business owner, athlete, and the founder of a yoga Studio in Santa Barbara called Power of your Om.

As we unravel old propaganda and create a new narrative we believe it's so important for us to share these healing experiences with our friends and loved ones to normalize the conversation.

Decriminalization of these plants and mushrooms is important so that people can explore on their own without the fear of getting in legal trouble.

Adrienne was a hardcore athlete her whole life. She would race as a professional triathlete. She even has the world record for the longest rowing trip across the pacific ocean.
