People come in and out of your life for a reason. Don’t roll around in the “why”. Know that they were there for a reason…to fill a need, to mirror something you want to change, to try a part of you you’ve never explored. Celebrate that and MOVE ON!

Look, we haven’t had a reminder in a long time. Most recently 9/11, but really since the 1940’s in WWII. The universe has a way of reminding us that in normal times…life’s not that bad.

Appreciate the genuine connections you have. The authentic friendships. Knowing that there is food on the table, a roof over our heads and people who love and care about us.

Look for those rare opportunities to bring people into your life who lift you up…tell you the truth (in a loving way) amd understand the TRUTH about who you are. Because… YOU ARE WORTH IT!

If this holiday is going to be a tough one…

1) Don’t be a hero! Feel sorry for yourself, just don’t stay there to long.

2) Do one thing that nurtures your spirit. Get a message, get your hair done, buy something that you would NEVER buy for yourself ordinarily.

3) Know that every single time you walk through the pain, it brings you one step closer to healing amd being whole.

4) Remember that if you have ONE true friend, you have everything.
