In this E&D Wednesday Live I am asking you the 1 million question; When are you really "Unapologetic"?
Let´s discuss.
Being unapologetically you means becoming conscious of the pursuit of yourself, stripping back all the layers of who society taught you to be, and truly opening up to your true self.
In the journey of becoming unapologetic it’s not like you’re becoming someone different, it’s about you no longer feeling the need to hide or be who you think other people want you to be, and it’s about you no longer holding yourself back from fully expressing yourself due to the fear of being judged.
It´s Black History Month and we are being more unapologetic than ever.
‼️Long post.
Swipe left to read it🌸
I would be extremely humbled if you would be in the room, sis.
I am back, excited, and more encouraged than ever about putting us and our friendships and wellbeing back on track.
Love Miriam
You are not gonna want to miss THIS!
Sis,
what do you do when your hard work isn´t matching your results?
What do you do when you feel like you are doing ALL of the right things BUT still, there is nothing new under the sun?
What do you do when you´ve given all but you still don´t have peace?
During today´s wednesday live, I will be getting real real with you about the intersection of harvesting and being still. Please join me and let´s discuss ❤️
🖤
The month of Harvest, but do we really have anything to celebrate?
The thing is, WE DO, but my mic decided to misbehave during my Live today so the WHOLE streaming is silent 🤦🏿♀️
Will post some snippets from the FB version. In the meanwhile, you can see it here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/cGc3RGspMuXZCXm4/
This content creating life is not for the weak‼️
Sis, listen!
Times are challenging and this year of overflow is not really "overflowing", right?
Ok, then we are just about time for the theme of the month "Harvest".
In today´s E&D Live I want to us to be blunt and transparent about our self assessment.
I mean, what have we sown and what are we expecting to reap?
Join me and let´s discuss😊
This started out as a 2 part live but due to popular demand and the request for us to continue unpacking this heavy notion about our history and community, we chose to do just that, keep on unpacking ❤️
During today´s E&D wednesday live we will unpack the concept of Collective healing and how that is connected to generational curses.
A lot of research has been published about how individuals’ trauma impacts communities, but what happens when an entire community is traumatized? This is called collective trauma, which refers to the impact of a traumatic occurrence that affects whole groups of people. That later, often, leads to multiple layers of trauma healing for the a people. Simply put, it is a shared emotional reaction to a or multiple terrible event(s).
Join in and let´s unpack.
Last week we spoke about Health and Relationships in the context of generational curses and today we are diving into "Finance".
This month is all about new beginnings and want to for us to get a new perspective of difficult patterns, as generational curses often are seen as, so that we can see our own lives afresh. It’s quite unfortunate that only a few people take generational curses seriously. As we unpack this trend, ii believe that we WILL become wiser and bolder in our thinking moving forward in this year of overflow.
Sis, next time somebody comes for your peace, remember this.
You are welcome😘
🙋🏿♀️
Just when you thought the summer glow was over and here comes 🥰✨️✨️looking like the first day in heaven💫 Captivating us with her chic and effortless style👏🏿👏🏿 Keeping us locked in with her rich and naturly tatilazing complexion🥹
Oooohhhh 👏🏿👏🏿we LOVE us‼️
🙋🏿♀️
A generational curse is a dysfunctional or difficult pattern that families have. It’s quite unfortunate that only a few people take generational curses seriously today. So today I want us to unpack the this trend and hopefully become wiser as we deep dive on it during this E&D Wednesday Live.
Are you ok?! Are we ok?!
Isatou "Aysha" Jones asks in her recent post about mental health in the black and brown community. A question we never cease to ask as the alternative is continuing the oh too familiar pattern of "generational curses" in our communities.
While the fall´s first community gathering _What´s Good Sis_is this saturday at , we also wanted to amplify the reflections and experiences of our fellow sisters that can´t be in the room.
Thank you, Aysha for never shying away from advocating for the advancement of the black and brown experience and well-being in the Nordics. We appreciate you💞💫

I this first E&D Wednesday Live I, Miriam Nabunya, got the most transparent I´ve ever been in a live. I share how summer has be for me personally and for the E&D team and community. I share sneak peeks on upcoming gatherings, ANHACC and most importantly, I share insights on the burdens on leading a new organisation and serving our community. It´s short, open and pure.
Let us know your thoughts on it ❤️
Bring her/them back.
Have you also got to THIS point in life where this reflection makes perfect sense to you?

A week ago, we, together with a bouquet of amazing people and partners, we made a mark in history that truly embodied the spirit of Pride.
We have taken this past week to digest, reflect, and fully land in the experience. Our founder, Miriam Nabunya , has shared some reflections and expressed her deepest gratitude to everyone involved Part 1🫰🏿😊
