Last Friday, SIKAT TBI facilitated a team formation session👨🏻‍🤝‍👨🏽 with its startups. We highlighted the value of collaboration🫱🏼‍🫲🏽 and communication🗣️ for the success of their venture.

Startups verbalized the goals that their teams are working towards➡️, the obstacles they may inevitably face⚠️, and the values their teams will continuously stand by🏗️. Teams also elaborated on each member’s strengths and skills, and utilized these to create their organizational structure♟️.

SIKAT TBI’s light continues to burn bright as we revisit the incubator’s branding through a brown bag session 🍎 - a learning activity designed to capacitate participants with specific skills.

It was headed by Mr. Kalvin Gerald Orgasan, a founding staff of SIKAT TBI 🧡 who developed and nurtured the branding of the incubator and various other initiatives advocating for the local creative industries. 🧑‍🎨 🎨

SIKAT TBI continues to be a disruptor; breaking conventions, forging ahead, and staying true to its vision of truly championing innovation and creativity 🔆

EVERYTHING BEGINS WITH AN IDEA! 🌞

We’re kicking off the incubation program with an ideation session! 💭 We focused on the fundamentals of Design Thinking 💡 and how they can build their startups with intentional creation at its core 🔆. Startups learned the value of looking at problems from different perspectives and turning them into opportunities ♾️

With our upcoming sessions, we’ll be translating these crazy ideas into tangible solutions 🔜‼️

Last October 23, 2023, the BPSU SIKAT TBI ☀ conducted benchmarking activities at Benilde HiFi 🖖 and Brainsparks ✨ in Manila. Here's to forging collaborative networks, adapting their best practices, and uniting efforts in empowering a visionary approach! 🤘🚀

We are thrilled to foster collaboration 🤝 with the Balanga City Government through the CEDIPO and Negosyo Center - Balanga team in setting into motion DTI's Lunsod Lunsad Creative Cities. 🏙️ ✨

The City's initiative is a shared vision with BPSU SIKAT TBI ☀️ to weave together the creative tapestry of our community. 🪢 Bringing forth the spotlight to our artisans and promoting arts, culture and imagination. 🎨

Together, we are confident that Balanga City will spur on a creative future ✨ for Balangueños.

‼️ ICMYI ‼️ The Regional Science and Technology Week (RSTW) ⚛ 2023 in Central Luzon 🚀 was held in the People's Plaza Botolan, Zambales on October 18 to 20, 2023.

BPSU SIKAT TBI, BPSU SINAG Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator, BPSU DOST-TAPI and BPSU TTKMO joined as exhibitors during the 3-day event to showcase innovations pioneered by the brilliant minds 🧠 of Bataeños, foster linkages with co-exhibitors 🤝 hailing from different institutions in the field of science and technology and encourage the youth 🙋 to build their future 🌟 through creativity 🎨, discovery 🔎 and innnovation. 🚀

We are truly grateful to the people whose passion 🔥 made this event possible, to the participants who were endlessly curious 🤔 and to our fellow exhibitors who are cultivating the seeds 🌱 of innovation for the Filipino youth!

What a blast!!! 💥💥💥

Last week, Bataan Peninsula State University hosted the regional leg and the first round of the Philippine Startup Challenge 8 🚀 at the BPSU Main Campus Library on October 4, 2023.

30 student startup teams hailing from schools all over Central Luzon battled it out on a Pitching Competition 🏆 where they showcased their innovative startup business ideas. 💡 Two teams from BPSU won the awards for:

🏆 Second Runner-up: Team Aerolink
