30 days ago, set out to raise $500 in funds, and put our brand out into the world to raise awareness for men’s health.
-
Today, we’ve come just shy of tripling that initial goal, closing out the month at $1,397.88 in profits.
-
While I am beyond proud to speak about the money raised - I am honoured - to have been able to hear the stories of those that have been impacted by men’s health.
-
I am honoured to know that sharing my story, has helped just a few people relate more to this thing we call men’s health.
-
I am honoured to have built partnerships and relationships with passionate people here in the community of Kelowna, who want to see change for the better.
-
And I am humbled to have felt such unwavering support from those who took time, money or both to be a part of this campaign.
-
It’s incredibly inspiring to see what can be done in such a short time, when you bring together a group of such compassion and care. I thank each and everyone of you.
-
What an absolutely incredible month. 👨🏻❤️

An incredibly inspiring, humbling and proud moment - to be able to lead this panel discussion on men’s health last night.

A massive thank you to Famoso Sopa Square and Kettle River Brewing for keeping these folks full of food and their thirst quenched.

Thank you to all of those who attended the event, and donated to men’s health.

Thank you to Global Okanagan for making an appearance and helping spread awareness throughout the Okanagan.

And last but not least. I know I can speak for the audience AND on behalf of Blk x Wht when I say thank you Roxie Van Aller, Ben Macauley, Reid Schretlen, Kodie Beckley, Bren Witt, Kim Wardman and Alex Vandelaar - for not only taking the time out of your evening, but to be so open and vulnerable with sharing your stories.

You, ladies and gents, have made an impact.

Thank you.
