Evening all, please share the video about our little club. This season was tough for a lot of clubs with seemingly a record high number of cancelled games due to player numbers.
It is more important than ever to try and attract new players to start, come to back or continue playing this great game.

Last Sunday, we held our annual Presidents XI v Barley XI match. During the ma, a potential new took place. 3 father and son combo's playing in the same match.

A mixed bag for us this weekend, 1 win and 1 loss. Both teams stable mid-table performances thus far, here's to enjoying the last few matches of the 2023 season.
With announcing his retirement from all cricket. In his most recent on Sunday column, he mentioned 2 of his heroes in Stuart 'Psycho' Pearce and Martin Johnson. How he wanted to be like them as a young boy.
That got me thinking, who were your heroes. Both sporting and non-sporting, if you are lucky enough to know your hero, then tell them how much they mean to you. If your hero is sadly no longer with us, then raise a glass, salute or any other way you would like to thank them.

Great day had by all at our Presidents XI v Barley XI game today.
Over 520 runs scored, 1 century, 2 missed stumpings, many MANY dropped catches and 1 stunner from

Mixed results for our 2 teams yesterday.
A commanding win for the 1st XI with Joe De Souza snagging 5-18 from his 8 overs. 39no & 46no.
Our 2nd XI fell just short in a high scoring game with Chris Markham (playing his 1st league game of the season) top scoring with 39.
Last game of the season next Saturday followed by Presidents XI v Barley XI on Sunday. If you are in the area come and say hello from 1pm.
