This is the best picture I was able to get of us since we had the triplets! ( we are only allowed to hold one at a time)
Grey (boy): 3.12 lbs
Lake (girl): 3.5 lbs
Finn (boy): 4.2 lbs

They are the best thing that has ever happened to me. The feeling is unexplainable. They were born at 33 weeks and will be in the nicu until around Christmas.
I was discharged from the hospital yesterday after staying for 4 days. Leaving the hospital without them is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. My heart feels empty inside. But I know they are in the best place they can be and look forward to the our future together.

20 week bump! What are some things y’all would love to see on my feed next week ??

Our 3rd and final doctor was so unlike any of the ones before. He DIDNT go straight to IVF. He mentioned iui to us. It was a non invasive, simple procedure. After meeting with him the first time a little glimmer of hope came shining through for me. We then begin the process. I took clomid for 5 days which made my follicles multiply. I had 5 follicles!! 5!! I then gave myself a trigger shot (to stimulate ovulation) and went in for the iui 2 days later. They “washed” Justin’s s***m (separating the weak from the strong) and inseminated me with a catheter, which was painless! I couldn’t feel a thing. I was able to go to work an hour later! It was so much easier than I thought it would be.

From there we had to wait 2 weeks to go back in and do blood work to see if i was pregnant! I couldn’t wait. I took a test after about 10 days. It came back PREGNANT!! The amount of joy I felt was unexplainable! I got pregnant on our first IUI! It is still not 100% why I couldn’t get pregnant, but the doctor believes I had some tissue that could’ve been blocking the s***m from going through. It was as simple as that.

At our 7 week ultrasound we found out we were having TRIPLETS!!! We were both in shock and filled with excitement. Everything happens for a reason. All the years of waiting, was so we could get our 3 little babes all at once, and I see that now. So for everyone out there struggling, just please know that there is a reason for the struggle, and it’s a reason that will lead you to a situation so great you couldn’t even imagine it on your own.

I’m so excited to share our journey with the world!

After almost 5 years of trying and fertility treatments later we can finally say we are blessed with not 1, not 2, but 3 gorgeous buns in the oven! Justin and I are so excited to welcome them into our lives!! Coming November 2022!!
