It's been two long years since Midway High School has produced a play, but it's finally time!! Investing in productions that never came to be has put a damper on our account, and we need your help to get up and running again!

We are looking for sponsors and business partners that will invest in the future of our theatre program. You can partner with us by making a donation or purchasing an ad in our program.

This year's program will be seen by over 300 audience members during the weekend before Black Friday/Small Business Saturday. So, it's the perfect time to advertise or put out a coupon for your business.

Today was hard... tougher than I thought it would be. We normally celebrate our Seniors during the curtain call of our final performance (Robin Hood and His Merry Men)... which would have been tonight. Quaranteened, a virtual musical
for writers & actors ages 13-19

Quaranteened is an original musical to be created by teen writers and songwriters about the changes in the world that our students are facing, right now, today. After the completion of the script, actors may audition to perform the script by being directed remotely and self-taping their pieces. The Theater Bug team will then edit together the scenes and songs to create a finished product! We will have a licensed clinical social worker present at group sessions as emotional and mental health support for students and staff. Not all who submit or audition will be admitted into the program. This program is offered free of charge. Students will participate via Zoom, FaceTime and email. We are very excited to make some fantastic art with you, but ask that everyone remember that this is uncharted territory for us all. Participants will be asked for their understanding and flexibility as we learn how to create together

We're excited to be releasing our very first Stratford Festival video game later this year called Staging Shakespeare!

The game gives players digital assets - costumes, props, sound and lighting cues - with which to create a virtual scene from Romeo and Juliet. Players can earn points for successfully staging the play allowing them to unlock new assets, as well as new stages from the Studio Theatre to the Festival Theatre.

Oak Ridge Playhouse is holding auditions for the Arthur Miller drama, ALL MY SONS.

Auditions will be held Sunday, January 26 and Monday, January 27. You may audition either day.

There are roles for 5 men, 4 women and one boy.
