I was lucky enough to be chosen by my school to visit the Humane Society of Northeast Iowa in Decorah. They have SO MANY super-friendly pets that need adopting. If you're looking for a pet, please consider giving them a visit!

Happy NATIONAL DOG DAY to all the furry friends I've made through Jace's Pet Place!

Excited to play with two new furry friends for the next few days, Lola and Elvis :)

Kit Kat is my first furry friend that is feline! She LOVES to play.

Got to spend the last five days with two new furry friends. Sophie and Ollie were fun to cuddle and play with!

A rainy afternoon means watching a movie and cuddling with Maggie and Angel who are visiting for the second time.

I had a new friend stop by today that I’ll be taking care of in a couple weeks. She wanted to meet my dogs and say Hi. I took some notes that the owner said was important to do while she’s at my house.

Maggie and Angel got to stay at my house this weekend! We had fun playing and Maggie got to sleep with me and my stuffed animals :)

My furry friend Belle gets to spend the weekend with me again. She got messy having fun on a hike with my dogs, so we had to give her a bath and blow dry her hair.

🐾 Got to spend a day with Nia. She looks a little blurry in this picture because she has A LOT of energy. My dogs couldn’t keep up with her ;)

My new friend, Allie, owns Guinea pigs like I do. I invited her over to teach me new caretaking tips. I learned how to properly keep their nails trimmed, more snacks they like, and more bedding options for easy cleaning. Allie was an awesome teacher.

My furry friend Maggie got to spend the night with me. My dogs enjoyed having her over to play.

I’ve been hanging out with my new friend, Waylon, this weekend. We took him to the river where he played tag with Luna and Davey, and we played some fetch.

I was happy to visit Rossi & Rico again today! These two are starting to warm-up more to me.

I have visited Belle at her house several times now, but I was excited to have Belle spend the night at mine!

She’s super soft like my stuffed animals :) 🐾

I got to spend my last day with Angus today while sporting my new business shirt!

Today I was invited to go around with the animal caretakers and watch them feed the animals at Osborne!

I have visited these animals MANY times over the years, but this was the first time getting to see them fed.

I asked a lot of questions and learned a lot more about the animals. Seeing how they feed the bear was really cool! I also learned that when owls feel threatened, they click their beaks.

I would love to one day be able to help feed these animals and take care of them when I’m older.

I got to meet Belle today. She is super playful 🐾

I’m learning how to use my new animal calendar to keep track of my pet appointments. Today will be a busy and fun day of playing with some furry friends! 🐾

Thanks, Coach Koehn, for bringing Leonard over to play while you run football OTA’s. Davey now has someone his size :)
