I was able to locate the collar with airtag.

Description: White and apricot bichon Pooh mix. Her hair is cut short unlike in the picture she did not have a collar because when she left , she was on the patio. She has an apricot/beige line going down her back with the same color on her ears, her tail is cut short. She is approximately 14 months old about eight or 9 pounds playful does not bark currently in heat.

Not sure if 's owner checks this thread, but just in case:

It's not unusual for good samaritans to pick up lost pets as strays and drop them off at rescues.

Unfortunately, sometimes, not all rescues are not on the up and up, like Pam Weiner and her Dachshund Rescue South Florida. When her group intakes a lost or stray pet, they do not inform Broward County Animal Care and Adoption as required by FSS 823.151 and Broward County Ordinance 4-23 nor do they adhere to the stray hold law. Rather, they put small dogs into their foster/adoption system right away. They don't have real offices, so go visit her at her exclusively priced property, bought with the proceeds from stolen pets at: 2800 SW 148Th Av, Davie, FL 33331. You'll know it by the stables and the swimming pool with the exotic rockscape and water fall.

There's a good chance your pet might be at and Pam Weiner will lie, cheat, steal and deny any knowledge of your lost pet because adoption means money for her rescue.

Message from Owner: STOLEN BY DISHONEST SAMARITAN!

Our female Yorkie dog, Layla, unexpectedly escaped our address in Lakewood Circle of Atlantic Blvd. on Sunday night of January 7th,2024. We just had a newborn on December 31st,2023 and did not notice she had slipped out the door when we emptied the garbage.
We plastered the area with lost dog flyers, and a Spanish lady called to say she and a Creole speaking lady in this picture saw the dog. The Creole speaking lady in this picture offered to take our dog to a shelter but never did. We checked all the shelters and even made a police report. We have a 4-year-old toddler who loves Layla dearly. Please help us bring Layla back if you can post this story as a tip on your station. The Spanish lady is also distraught that this lady in the picture did not prove true to her word as a good Samaritan should have. Layla has a chip. PLEASE HELP! Our other pup is so lonely.

Message from Owner: STOLEN BY DISHONEST SAMARITAN!

Our female Yorkie dog, Layla, unexpectedly escaped our address in Lakewood Circle of Atlantic Blvd. on Sunday night of January 7th,2024. We just had a newborn on December 31st,2023 and did not notice she had slipped out the door when we emptied the garbage.
We plastered the area with lost dog flyers, and a Spanish lady called to say she and a Creole speaking lady in this picture saw the dog. The Creole speaking lady in this picture offered to take our dog to a shelter but never did. We checked all the shelters and even made a police report. We have a 4-year-old toddler who loves Layla dearly. Please help us bring Layla back if you can post this story as a tip on your station. The Spanish lady is also distraught that this lady in the picture did not prove true to her word as a good Samaritan should have. Layla has a chip. PLEASE HELP! Our other pup is so lonely.
