*Peach Browned Butter Ice Cream with Cinnamon Streusel Swirl*

This is an amazing recipe! You've gotta try it out! It does require an ice cream machine, but those are only about $20 and totally worth it πŸ˜‹

2 c heavy cream
2 c half and half
1 c sugar
2 tbsp real vanilla

Warm on the stove gently until sugar is dissolved. Set aside.

Dice 4-6 peaches and add to ice cream base.

In small sauce pan, brown 5 tbsp butter on medium heat. Skim off the foam and discard. Add to ice cream base.

3 tbsp butter
1/3 c brown sugar
3/4 c flour
Cinnamon
Salt

Melt butter then add other ingredients to make Streusel. Set aside to cool.

Put ice cream base in ice cream machine until done. Layer ice cream and streusel in container and put in freezer until fully frozen.

Shrimp etoufee- my version

Saute green and red bell pepper, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper, 2 bay leaves, and cayenne and remove from pan.

Toss shrimp in seasoned flour and fry on very high heat, you want good color but not to cook it all the way through. Remove shrimp from pan.

Throw in half a stick of butter and melt, throw in 5 tbsp of flour and whisk until golden brown, that is a roux to thicken the sauce. Throw sautΓ©ed veggies into the roux in the pan.

Then add either beer or white wine, about a cup or so, 2 cups of water, and 2 cans of diced tomatoes. Then add thyme, salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne, oregano, hot sauce, lemon juice, worcestershire sauce, and onion powder. I don't measure my spices, so add as much or as little as you like!

Simmer for 45 minutes, then add shrimp to sauce and cook 5 minutes. Serve over fluffy white rice! It's sooooo good!

4 Ingredient Onion Rings

Pancake dry mix
Beer
Tony's seasoning
Onions

So delicious! Make sure your oil is really hot so that it doesn't absorb oil and make them greasy.

Ground pork
Shredded cabbage
Chopped mushrooms
Green onions
Garlic
Ginger
Fish sauce
Soy sauce
Chili garlic paste

Louisiana style BBQ shrimp!!!!

Y'all I'm telling you that you NEED to make this dish if you are a seafood lover. You could also just make this sauce and use it to dip king crab legs in, drizzle it on corn in the cob, you name it!

Saute half a diced onion and 7 cloves of garlic. Add 1 stick of butter, 1.5 cups of water, and a chicken bouillon cube. Here come the spices:
Chili powder
Onion powder
Tony's cajun seasoning
Oregano
Salt
Paprika
Once it's all mixed in, add a few dashes of hot sauce, a whole squeezed lemon, and some Worcestershire sauce. Simmer and add in about 4 TBSP of cornstarch slurry. It helps to thicken the sauce so that the butter doesn't separate from everything. Then add shrimp and simmer until done.

Serve with lots of good bread to soak up that sauce πŸ˜‹

Homemade Hot Wings!

I soaked them in buttermilk with salt overnight. Then bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Then fry in very hot oil, you just want to crisp them up, not overcook them! And I did some in honey bbq, and the rest in hot garlic. It's a cup and a half of Frank's hot sauce, 9 tbsp butter, fresh chopped garlic, cayenne, and Worcestershire πŸ˜ŽπŸ—πŸ»

Crockpot beans with ham hock πŸ˜‹
Soak a bag of cranberry beans overnight (nearly any bean will do), rinse, and put into a crockpot. Add a big ole ham hock (or any smoked meat, like pork neck bones), a diced onion, salt, and a can of diced tomatoes. Cook for 2 hours on high, pull out your hock and get the meat off it and put that meat into your beans. Serve with cornbread!

I don't know about y'all, but when I'm ready to clean out the fridge I throw everything together into a meal! I know lots of people make soup with theirs, but I like to make what I call "Garbage Pasta" πŸ˜‚

Take what ever meat you have and saute, set aside. Saute what ever veggies you have with spices and add wine or broth, add the meat back in. Simmer then add some butter, half and half, pasta, and parmesan cheese and you're done! Mine turns out different each time but it's always delicious πŸ˜‹

Today I had whole zucchini, half a can of Rotel, half an onion, 1 cup of red wine, chicken thighs, ground sausage, and rotini

Herb Crusted Pork Loin Roast

3 sprigs fresh rosemary, minced
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp rubbed sage
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
3 tbsp Worcestershire
3 tbsp light olive oil

Mix all ingredients and rub on roast, fat side up. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes to create a crust. Then drop temperature down to 325 for about 20 minutes per pound, uncovered.

This makes THE BEST roast ever! So juicy and the crust is AMAZING! Sorry this isn't the best picture, but I was busy cooking lots of dishes at once πŸ˜‹
