Two Magpies and Rainbow

We always listen to the songs but do we hear it, feel it, take time to embrace the memories and senses the song stimulates?
Or do we turn the radio off, listen to our own rigid play list, drive the route we’ve been told so that we don’t embrace being scared, don’t delve into ourselves to go back to the trauma we endured, we bury it further down and hide by burying it or burning it.
I want to share my journey, my highs my lows and the grey dark lonely parts when my response to traumas to triggers made me see nothing but the worse case scenario, hurting anyone that cared about me and grasping onto the real life clowns.
I’m embracing my mental health in a fun positive way in hope to help others move on slowly.
It’s always good to look on things with a fresh pair of eyes, believe me I know, I’ve felt a rush of impulsive emotions and my addictive personality crept out once again.

There are many colours that make up a beautiful rainbow, it’s not all black and white, don’t be afraid to feel safe in the grey area.
Embrace the spectrum of colours, awaken your senses, don’t be afraid of different, different can still be familiar but exciting.
Embrace every opportunity and don’t be afraid to celebrate even the smallest achievements but remember it’s okay not be okay.

I’ve been telling and listening to stories all my life, singing along to my favourite songs and crying at the ones that trigger emotions.
We all have lovely kind big hearts, for some it’s all black and white, for some it’s the seemingly safe grey, other are all rainbows, butterflies and glitter
We need to be kind to others, show respect and empathy, be empowering whist at the same time encouraging safe risks and to be aware of how any previous trauma however big are small, whether it be a song, a smell, an event , texture or even something as simple as stop sign can cause distress to any heart.
