The Abram Zuil Secondary School hosted the regional Impromptu Speech competition where all 8 secondary schools in the region had representatives

Emerging in the first place representative from the Anna Regina Secondary School- Shreya Ramnarine
The second place winner also from the Anna Regina Secondary School -Levisha Mahadeo
And third place from the Abram Zuil Secondary School- Serena Gangoo

We wish Shreya Ramnarine all the best as she advances to the National Competition

Students of the Abram Zuil secondary school once again rose as winners of the Regional JOF Haynes debating competition against the Anna Regina Secondary School

Congratulations to the winning schools of the 2024 Guyana-Monaco Mousetrap Car Grand Prix!

Abram Zuil Secondary School Secured first place in the Guyana-Monaco Mousetrap Car Grand Prix competition, which took place at Everest Cricket Ground on the 19th of April, 2024.
The school came out victorious in the Endurance category.
In recognition of this exceptional achievement, our winning team was granted a prize of $350,000 GYD.

Twelve years ago, she made her country proud. In 2012, Sarah Hakh was the Caribbean's best overall CXC student copping a record breaking 16 Grade Ones with all As on the profile grades. Sarah Hakh won the award for the Most Outstanding Candidate Overall in the Caribbean. As a result of her performance, her school, Abram’s Zuil on the Essequibo Coast, received the CSEC School of the Year Award for 2012.
