Fresh water is a precious resource that’s becoming increasingly scarce. As we celebrate World Water day it’s important to remember that access to clean water and sanitation is a basic human right. Unfortunately millions around the world still lack access to these essential resources. That’s why the UN has included clean water and sanitation as one of its Sustainable Development Goals (SDG6).

Agriculture alone accounts for up to 70% of global water use, which is why it’s more important than ever to reduce water waste.

One way you can do your part, is by choosing to consume local produce that might otherwise go to waste. By doing so, we are helping conserve water, support our local producers all while support SDGs.
