This morning I was working ona small red fiat 5ccl. Conditions weren't brilliant but it wasn't heavy rain just light showers so it was still workable.

The exterior was given the usual treatment however due to the inclement weather I had to leave out the machine polishing as the panels were too wet.

The interior needed some T.L.C but it wasn't a job AMCC Services couldn't handle ;)

This afternoon I was working on the exterior of a large blue Ford es**rt.

It's quite a classic vehicle which was greeted with much interest from passers by.

Two hours complete on this one which included tyres and plastics, windows and complete buffering with the machine polisher on selected panels of the car.

Customer absolutely thrilled with the final product and is keen to have me back again.

In a rare chance of three hours free this morning I managed to do an interior valet on the blue Citeron Berlingo.

It was particularly dirty due to months of neglect from the debris of my other business.

Weather held and the vehicle was looking good and ready to use in the next working day.

Is the British weather finally improving?.... Time will tell but thankfully the weather was good in Fulwood Preston so I could enjoy working on a small red mini Cooper.

This car was in for a full valet so it was good four hour workout.

Following on from the Honda jazz I went to another customer to clean the seats and upholstery on blue Es**rt.

The customer in particular requested I clean the seats to remove all the unwanted mould. Prior to the clean I gave everything a good hoover..

This morning's job was a small white Honda jazz.

The exterior was given a complete detail over. Thus included concentrated car wash two bucket method, plastics and tyres, windows, hose down, dry and machine polish.

Brief break then it was onto the interior. The interior was in need of some serious TLC. But this was no sweat for AMCC Services.

I got to work and after 5 hours it was a total makeover...

Hard graft on an interior valet for the blue Citeron Berlingo. It had been some time since I last cleaned it but after several hours of window cleaning, door sim tidying, dashboard Delights and super seat makeover job..

It was a brand new vehicle!;)

With spring potentially almost here it's the ideal opportunity to get your car cleaned to prepare for that much needed escape to the coast.

This morning the blue Citeron Berlingo was in for it's monthly exterior clean.

The wheels in particular needed enhancing due to driving in muddy areas.

The panels on either side of the car were fine tuned thanks to the fantastic machine polisher.

All in all a good couple of hours spent working outside in the glorious ( let's not get our hopes up !,) sunshine.....

7.30am start this morning giving the blue Citeron Berlingo a full valet.

It was the exterior tackled first for its monthly clean. This took approximately 1 hour to complete.

The interior was quite dirty due to my other business but I got to work and gave it a super clean makeover.....

This morning's job was an interior clean on a blue Nissan Qashqai.

It was particularly bad as the customer owns a pet dog so you can imagine there was an excess of dog hair immersed on the upholstery.

But it was no problem for AMCC Services....

Thanks to my tools, tricks and professional products I got to work within a three hour period.

The rain was infrequent but that didn't get in the way....

After three hours and several brews the job was complete!;)

Last few days of winter and we can finally welcome some nice weather with spring on the way.

That being the case, you'll be looking to get your car clean and shiny ready for that trip to the coast.

This afternoon I did an exterior clean on the blue Citeron Berlingo. Following the two bucket method I got to work on all the plastics including the tyres.

From the I cleaned the rims of the tyre then did a three stage cleaning technique on the windows. 1. Microfiber alone. 2. With rubbing alcohol. 3. With glass cleaner.

Complete wash down with the powerwasher. Dried with Microfiber.

Then clay l**e plus clay bar on areas to polish. Dabbed wax on panels then got to work with the machine polisher.

Plush towel wiped surfaces. Rubbing alcohol second tidy then Microfiber plus sealey torch for high attention to detail.

Following on from the recent exterior clean of the Citeron Berlingo, this afternoon I worked on the interior.

It wasn't too bad as I only did it recently. If you want your car to have good longevity the best solution is to keep on top of it by regular monthly cleaning both exterior and interior.

If life circumstances mean you can't get round to doing it don't hesitate to book me and I'll get it looking brand new again.....

This afternoon the Citeron Berlingo was in for another exterior valet.

I had to conduct the clean later in the day as the weather conditions meant the morning would have proved difficult due to the frost.

This afternoon I was in Longridge working on the interior of a small light blue C3 Citeron Picasso.

Bit of a restoration job as it was quite neglected inside. Mould on the seats, seatbelt and steering wheel.

There was also excessive dog hair mostly in the boot.

These obstacles didn't prove a stumbling block for AMCC Services though. Got it looking new again thanks to some professional products I was using.

First job of 2024 was a large red Renault Kadjar. I was working for a new customer up Higher Penwortham way.

The exterior wasn't too bad but following my intensive specialised treatment it looked 100 % better.

Gave the interior a good clean up. The boot was especially bad which took hard graft with the numatic hoover.

After 4 and half hours job done and happy customer!:).....

Last car job for 2023 and it's been a progressive year for AMCC Services.

Having bought the machine polisher in the spring and then waiting for the autumn to practice, it has certainly been a game changer for my business.

I'm looking forward to more car valeting throughout 2024 and developing my skills with the machine polisher.

From today the machine polishing training sessions have concluded.

I feel like I have learnt so much in such a short space of time. Looking back to March this year when I bought the machine polisher then in the summer when I bought additional equipment such as the clay l**e, clay bar and Sealey torch, I'm delighted with where I'm at with it now.

I picked my skills up on YouTube , made notes and laminated all the notes so it was easier to understand.

I then had the first training session back in October with a mates car and he also kindly filmed aspects of the session so I could recap what I had to do.

I honestly didn't have a clue at first but after several attempts I picked up my skills, improved and no longer needed the notes.

It's definitely the level up I needed for my car valeting and thanks to my brilliant sister Anna we have both reached a decision on the new rates which will come into affect January 2024.

The blue Citeron Berlingo was in for it's exterior clean again.

Regular cleaning on your vehicle helps to protect it and gives it longevity in the years to come.

Whenever there is no access to a hosepipe and tap I use my litre tank of water to connect to the powerwasher which is connected to the mains. There is less freedom in some ways as there is limited water supply but by the time it runs out the wash down is complete.

Feeling much more confident with the machine polisher now as the training sessions have almost concluded.

I'm looking forward to using it throughout 2024.

This morning a large red Mazda 3 was in for an exterior clean.

Following the initial wash with the two bucket method, I cleaned all the tyres and plastics with the rubber plus cleaner.

The wheel cleaner covered the rims. Then it was three separate Microfibers on the windows.. solo, rubbing alcohol and glass cleaner.

Wash down with the powerwasher then dried. Next came the polishing session. Clay l**e over the panels to polish. Clay bar for double decontamination.

A series of wax blobs were spread across the areas to polish then it was full steam ahead with the machine polisher.

Plush towel removed swirls and rubbing alcohol gave a nice sparkle..Sealey torch spotted areas to go over again.

A happy customer,!.

This morning I was working on the exterior of a small black Ford Fiesta Zetec.

Conditions were good which meant the following could take place-

*Wash down with the concentrated car wash using the two bucket method.
* Cleaning the tyres and all plastics using the rubber plus cleaner
* Cleaning the wheels with the wheel cleaner and brush.
* Windows cleaned..- solo with Microfiber, rubbing alcohol then glass cleaner.
* Powerwash all areas.
* Dried with Microfiber cloth.
*Applied clay l**e on surfaces to polish.
* Applied clay bar over the top.
* Placed blobs of wax on areas to polish.
* Used machine polisher on worked areas.
* Went over with plush towel.
* Applied rubbing alcohol on polished areas.
* Went over with Microfiber.
* Using sealey torch to look for swirl marks.

Job done!

The machine polishing training sessions are nearly coming to an end which will mean I'll be discussing with my sister the new rates for 2024...

In the meantime, this morning I was working on a large black Skoda Kodiq 4x4.

I gave it a thorough clean both on the exterior and interior of the vehicle.

I kindly received several brew breaks throughout my four hour session which made it so much more enjoyable providing me with energy and fuel to keep going....

There were occasional spells of rain but I fought through that to give a super duper car by 2pm.

Had a three hour window this afternoon before it went dark so made good use of my time by giving my blue Citeron Berlingo it's monthly interior clean.

I think valeting is something that gets easier the more you do it as you perfect your craft and get a nice car to enjoy driving in.

An early start for session 5 of the machine polishing sessions and this time I worked on the exterior of my own blue Citeron Berlingo.

After applying the clay l**e and the clay bar I got to work placing a series of blobs of wax across the panels of the car.

Now it was time for the machine polisher to work its magic. By this stage in the training am getting more familiar with the machine and the procedure needed to do the job properly.

Next session 6....

Today was the first time I did a full valet with the machine polisher and it took at least four hours to complete.

I was working on a small grey 308 Peugeot. The method of work included the following:-

* Complete exterior clean with the concentrated car wash
* Clean all rubbers and plastic such as tyres with the rubber plus cleaner
* Clean the wheels
* Three process window cleaning- 1. Microfiber on its own
2. With rubbing alcohol
3. With glass cleaner.
* Complete hose down with powerwasher.
* Dry with Microfiber towel.
* Apply clay l**e round panels
* Apply clay bar both to remove contaminants.
* Apply wax across the panels
* Use machine polisher all over car including top.
* Use plush towel to clean areas.
* Apply rubbing alcohol all over car with Microfiber.

Exterior done!

* Interior - place air freshener inside.
* Apply same window method as earlier.
* Clean all door sills including boot area with all-purpose cleaner.
* Clean dashboard area.
* Clean mats.
* Use Pro lint remover to gather dirt ready to hoover.
* Use dry hoover to gather dirt.
* Clean seats with wet vacuum.
* Use lemon dashboard spray for finishing touches.

Done!

Time to update you on how I got on this morning for session three of the machine polishing training sessions....

I was working on a large silver BMW in Ashton, Preston. I gave myself a three hour window but it actually all got done in 90 minutes!

I feel I'm definitely getting more of a hang of it and the steps learnt in session 1 have become imprinted in my brain so I can do it on auto pilot now.

The practice customer was delighted with the results and is even considering becoming a regular customer in the new-year!;) ....

Session 4 beckons....

Time for the second update covering my machine polishing training sessions.

Following last Sundays first session on a customer I put into practice the lessons learnt the previous week on my own blue Citeron Berlingo.

Once I got the initial clean done I got stuck in with the clay l**e and clay bar then it was four pea sized blobs across the panels of the car.

Then, I got stuck in with the machine polishing.

Granted, there were a few swirl marks but the blush towel helped to remove them..

Happy with session two.

More this coming week.....

As promised I am providing updates with my progress learning how to use a machine polisher.

First session I washed the entire car of a customers large grey Citeron Berlingo and dried it.

Next came the clay l**e then the clay bar to decontaminate the vehicle.

Then, I placed four small pea sized blobs of wax onto the pad of the machine polisher. Then, I simply dabbed the blobs across various panels on the car.

From there, I started using the machine polisher in hatch fashion to get it looking good. After that I used the blush towel to wipe away the excess wax.

A vigorous application of the rubbing alcohol was applied across the vehicle. Cleaning the pad with an old toothbrush then using the sealey torch to identify any swirl marks.

Job done!

The next session will be on my own vehicle which gives me more time to practice.
