Our school and toy making supply donation drive is all set up in the social work office. Donations can be dropped off at Chilton 300 from now until April 25th.
Items collected will be donated to AVANCE Inc., who will provide school and toy making supplies to families participating in their PCEP program. Toy making is a critical part of their program, emphasizing the power of play in the developmental process. For more information please contact our D&O committee at the emails above. 🎨🖍️

Helping Hands of the Future is hosting a baby item donation drive for AVANCE Inc. from March 22nd to the 29th! The donation bin can be located at the UNT Union on level 2 across Design Works. Support us in our efforts to provide needed resources for AVANCE children and families🤍

Established by the Social Work 2023 Cohort, Helping Hands of the Future is here in full force. In partnership with AVANCE, a national non-profit organization, we join arms to assist Latinx families in bridging the educational and economic gap. We strive to provide AVANCE with necessary resources in order to advance and sustain their current life-changing programs.
Our social media platforms are launching as spaces where we strive to amplify Latinx voices, explore topics of wealth and educational disparity within Latinx communities, share our work as youth activists, and mobilize others to help our efforts through in-kind donations and engagement.
We hope you join our advocacy efforts!
