New class alert 🚨

Vinyasa yoga with Karen

This class will start Saturday 5th March 10.30-11.30am, suitable for beginners and those looking to understand their practice more deeply.

Vinyasa is a style of yoga characterized by stringing postures together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. Commonly referred to as “flow” yoga.

As a philosophy, Vinyasa recognizes the temporary nature of things. We enter into a posture, are there for a while and then leave.

Put all this together and Vinyasa, is a breath initiated practice, that connects every action of our life with the intention of moving towards what is sacred, or most important to us.

Well, you missed a treat last night. The yoga session was fab and I slept like a baby afterwards. I haven't done any yoga for 20 years and am 67 now so was a bit wary, but it was really good and, although a bit achy, I felt well-stretched afterwards. Karen has a lovely soothing manner and there was no pressure to achieve weird poses! Thank you Karen at Scottishwellbeing for a great session. (No photos, I'm not that brave!!)

Restorative Workshop Scotland Book Club

Tonight is the night to take a little time for yourself and relax. Join Karen from Scottish Wellbeing at 8pm GMT for a wonderfully restful restorative yoga session over Zoom.

As part of the Scotland Book Club Membership, you can meet with Karen once a month for our exclusive session. We're really looking forward to this time out just for us!

And, of course, we want to help put you in the mood to be able to pick up a book and read!

Things you'll need if you come:
- Comfortable loose clothing
- Cushions or blankets for props
- A lovely cup of herbal tea, if that's your thing!

Exciting Collaboration!

I will be providing a monthly restorative yoga workshop to all Scotland Book Club members from the end of November.

Good morning 🌞

Happy Thursday everyone!

It’s been a tough week for me, horrible chest infection and now my menstrual cycle has said hello, kicked me in the stomach and lower back 😩

I am however on the mend and feeling a little better and have decided to move on my mat a little to my soul sister flow classes that are stored and waiting for me!

This should make me feel more human and alive, I hope 🤞🥰

Take each day as it comes, heal, listen to your own body and be true to yourself.

Good morning everyone,

You may have noticed how quiet I have been the past month or so with posts, this was due to me living as my authentic self and not conforming to the social media norm on daily posting.

However, that being said, social media can be a wonderful platform in reaching out to others, sharing your passions and teaching methodology….therefore, I will be proposing new online and Park Yoga classes for Autumn/Winter in due course.
