Have you ever wondered what it’s like to keep statistics on a softball game? Do you find yourself wanting to deepen your understanding of the game? Don’t just simply like numbers so much you can’t stand it?

I will be training new scorekeepers on the new book created by the Board this week. I will have interested members watch the 9:00 game of Tri # # # vs. Cage Fighters, as well as the 10:00 game of Fluid vs Tri # # #. I will go over scoring decisions and how to mark them in the book as to help more accurately score to assist with ratings. This is not mandatory, but HIGHLY ENCOURAGED for all managers, but also for those interested in being a scorekeeper for the league. I will not be going over the basics of scorekeeping at this time.

I will be holding an introductory class to scorekeeping on Tuesday May 14th, at 6:30pm for anyone interested in scorekeeping that has never done so before. This will be held over Microsoft Teams. I will walk you through the layout of a scorebook and talk about what each square means. If you would like to attend either the in person session on Saturday, or the online session on Tuesday, please complete the form attached.
