We've launched our R.A.I.S.E. campaign to help people spot the signs of depression in men and to encourage men to seek therapy if they are struggling with their mental health.
Our survey of more than 3,000 of our members found that 50% of therapists reported men present with different depression symptoms than women.
The survey also found that more than half (56%) of therapists agreed that men are less likely to get mental health support than women.
To support and encourage men to seek qualified help, BACP therapists have contributed to an online booklet which addresses these depression symptoms, explores how they manifest, and offers tips on how to manage them.
It includes a look at:
Risk-taking
Anger
Isolation
Substance Abuse
Exhaustion

Can Spring make us feel SAD? Today is the 1st of March and according to the meteorological calendar marks the beginning of Spring .
