In May, when authorities in many Russian regions began to curtail restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the profitability of Sberbank's business continued to decline. For a month, the bank received 45.1 billion rubles. net profit, which is 40.1% less than a year earlier, follows from its reporting under RAS. For five months of 2020, Sberbank's profit amounted to 275.3 billion rubles. Compared to the same period last year, it decreased by more than a quarter (by 25.4%).
