Nothing like your Grandmother’s! My mother is truly a treasure and a blessing and groundbreaking woman for our family and MANY OTHERS! Hasn’t got IG lol but just felt like sharing a touch about her! I live right next to a river right now… and my ancestors some are from the Volta Region where there is water everywhere… God works in mysterious ways, so they say! This song means so much to me!! One of the songs that made me WANT to write songs ✍️. The feeling as a child I got when I heard these WORDS SO POSITIVE AND SMART… impactful. Till this day, I feel the spirit written behind these words. Imagine being able to truly impact people with words and poetry.. the onomatopoeia, the word formations … I know when I write and a song so spiritual it is beyond me… because I was NEVER ABLE to write till my late teens and when I got nearer to God and prayed more … It was like these additional abilities were bestowed . A gift 🎁 I feel at times I don’t even know it and spiritually these emotions are bestowed on me whether those around me or God. It is rarely “gospel” but always love related or building people up spiritually through my words! 🤲🏾
