Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club
Twin Mountain NH Snowmobile Trails We are a non-profit organization that maintains & grooms the snowmobile trail system just north of Franconia Notch in NH.
Corridor 11 passes thru our town with scenic White Mountain views within the national forest. Our group of volunteers are dedicated to snowmobiling & ensuring a great place to ride. Come ride the White Mountains ! :)
This is the Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club's New Logo that we are using on the Jefferson Notch Trail, Clinton Rd. Trail and the Cherry Mt. Trail for those that continue to drive their vehicles on our groomed trails ( when we have Snow), Some of the complaints have been that they didn't see or couldn't read the State Signs!!
So let's try the New Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club's Signs !!
The Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club has had to make the very hard decision to advise everyone that our Trail System Is Closed at this time until and if we get more snow.
The USFS has asked that we close any of their gates that may allow vehicle traffic which may do damage to the road and trail.
Please work with us to get through this difficult time and stay off the trail system.
Thanks

We have received 1-3" in the low areas and 3-6" in the higher elevations. Conditions range from marginal to good. The West groomer was out today tuning up Corridor 11 towards the south & in-town trails. I'm on the east side tonight making everything flat. East Groomer-
Temps dipped just enough to smooth things out on Corridor 11 from Lower Falls parking & to the east. Better snow cover in higher elevations & away from pavement. Thin cover on the north end of Jefferson Notch, towards Corridor 12.
Enjoy! ❄
Twin Mountain Snowmobile Trail System has some good snow cover in the highest elevations with some moderate cover at lower elevations . As you pass through town you will see dirt but when you get into the woods you hit snow cover. Park at any of our three parking spots and you can snowmobile. ( Town Recreational Area, Zealand Parking Area, Fabyans Parking Area) are the parking areas. This area in the photos have at least 2ft. of snow. We do have more snow coming but can't tell you when at this time !!
East Groomer-
Grooming continues daily and/or nightly. Expect marginal to moderate conditions throughout our system with better conditions out of town and to the east. Better snow cover up Base Stn & over Jefferson Notch (Corridor 11) but thins out towards the rail bed (Corridor 12). Enjoy!❄

After a warm weekend, temps have finally dropped below freezing and we have 1-3 inches of fresh snow. Our regular schedule has resumed and we will be grooming daily and/or nightly. ❄
Twin Mountain snowmobile club has been blessed this week with three vehicles in at least 1/4 mile on our trails. One on the Clinton Rd. and two on the Jefferson Notch Rd. this morning. All said they saw the signs but the letter were too small but there GPS told them to go that way!! License plates, one Mass. Two New York ??

This report is from the Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club. Thanks for using and enjoying our trail system . While in the area plan to stop and pick up some Raffle Tickets for a 2024 Ski-Doo Snowmobile or $5000.00 cash (Drawings on February 24 2024) also our updated Trail Map Tickets sales at Garneau's Garage and YaYa's Delhi in Twin Mountain.
Now that the Twin Mountain Snowmobile Club Trail System is all up and running there are some other Club's systems that are still in the clean up and grooming mode.
This is at this time with the best information I have the trails south of ours,( to Bethlehem and Franconia Bike Path South) is still blocked with trees. The Mt.Mitten and 25 dollar trail is still being repaired and groomed.
Going north I suggest at this time you stay on the Jefferson Notch Rd. until you connect with ( the rail bed Corridor # 12) and turn right to Gorham and Berlin.
Be safe and enjoy our Trail Systems.
The Twin Mountain Snowmobile Trail System Is Now Open. We will be grooming on a regular basis to keep our trails the best we can.
Check condition on our website.

The Twin Mountain Snowmobile Trail System Is Now Open.
We have opened our trail system after a two week or more struggle with mother nature, rain, very high winds. Lots of trees down that took lots of man power, chain saws, tractors, and the Groomers to clear the trails.
Please use caution there may still be pieces of wood under the snow and there is a fair amount of water in places.
Update:
The past two storms did not give us the snow that was forecast...not even close. It did however give us plenty of rain & temps in the 40s. We also had some of the highest winds in the state, so our crews have been out clearing blown over trees, debris, fixing flooded bridges, replacing washed out culverts, ect. With todays wind our trails are largely impassable once again & remain closed.
-East Groomer
Not what I want to tell you but our trail system remains close for now. We have some bad weather forecast for this weekend and can't take a chance to open than have to close the trail system the first of the week.
Most of if not all of the trails are closed in Coos County due to the weather. We will be getting SNOW soon and a lot of it !!
Please be patient and don't ride where you shouldn't. THANKS
