Jennifer Ramirez Art
Just some art created by me.
A design I did for a mural submission. It didn’t get picked, but I still like the design and I’ll submit it somewhere else! 🙂
Adding to the fence!
Started a new fence drawing! More to come!
Another fun project! These little watercolor paintings will be used as table identifiers for a wedding reception (instead of table numbers). Love this idea!
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve painted with watercolors. It’s nice to get back to it!
Now, time to focus on the fence!!! Chalk art for the fence coming soon!
It’s been a busy time lately. Really loved doing this project for a friend.
Had a really fun time painting this mural in Hazel Park!
I was asked to paint this as a Father’s Day present for the Man of the House (such a great idea!). Dad is from Chicago, Mom is from Detroit, hence the different city skylines.
I included the evolution pictures, too!
This kid is one of my biggest success stories. You can see the growth in skill from just one semester! I’m so proud of him!!! Bonus, at the beginning of the semester he drove me crazy because he didn’t care about the art class, he took it for a blow-off. But now, I adore him!!! This is why I teach!!!
A backdrop for a selfie station for the Senior All Night Party! LHS Rams! Get ready for the adventure!
Just a few of the creatures my amazing students painted!!!
Koi pond!
Another coloring book for you all! You’ve just got to head out to the Novi Home and Garden Center this weekend (April 6-7)!!! If you’ve never been, it’s one of the coolest shows. Not only do the have great companies offering great services and products, but a really awesome Family Fun Zone! Come check out the art made by me and my students while you’re there!
Burning the midnight oil. Koi pond at the Novi home and garden show!
One of my students is selling popcorn for NHS hours. She’s such a great kid, I told her I’d try to help her out by putting her ‘popcorn store’ on my Facebook. Obviously, no obligation to purchase! But if you like popcorn and want to help a kid out, help her! Thank you!!!

Had a fun time creating this for Lake Michigan Credit Union today. Nancy and I were at the Suburban Collection Showplace creating a floor logo for the Construction Show on Valentine’s Day. Meeting lots of great people and doing a little bit of networking. This may be the start of something really fun! Stay tuned….
So proud of my students!!!
Eisenhower Fashion Club makes, donates pillowcases to hospital SHELBY TOWNSHIP/STERLING HEIGHTS/UTICA — The Eisenhower High School Fashion Club recently decided to do a good deed for those in need by donating pillowcases they made to the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Troy.
Bowls, bowls and more bowls! Being fired Wednesday, so if you ordered one from the craft show, I’ll be delivering on Friday and Saturday!
All set up and ready at the Lamphere High School craft show. Come on over! Bowls are $15, cozy fleece pants $20.
The good and bad. The bowls are done! But the plates did not make it. In my haste, I fired them in the kiln incorrectly. Totally my fault. 🤦🏽♀️
I had an issue with the plates for the craft show (at Lamphere High School on Saturday, December 2, 8am-6pm). Most of them were broken when I opened the box. I’m waiting on the replacements. But, I had 2 that were not broken. Gnomes took center stage for those plates.
I’ll be taking orders for plates at the Craft Show. If you’re interested in gnome plates, or birds painted on the plates, or fox, dogs, cats, sharks, dinosaurs… come on out to Lamphere High School on Saturday! Depending on how many orders I get there will determine if I’m able to open up ordering on my page. Stay tuned!
The bowls are back!!!
I’m painting more bowls for the holiday season. I will be selling them at the LAMPHERE CRAFT SHOW (Ram Fest) on Saturday, December 2nd, from 8am - 6pm. I’ll have a limited supply, and new this year: plates!
Just finished this buck. Donating it to the Madison Heights Arts Board for the Gala on Friday! They are auctioning it off, or it’s a raffle item, or something like that. Lol. Either way, all the proceeds go to the Arts Board to raise money to create more murals and bring more art to the city!
Please join us at the Gala on Friday, November 17th.
Size of the painting is 24”x30”.

Coloring book for tomorrow! I made a few coloring books to give away tomorrow at the Library event from 10:30-12:30 and, if any are left, from 5:30-7:30.
I chose my favorite designs/drawings from the Madison Heights murals and my fence designs and turned them into coloring pages. 😀.
Got a lot of pans in the fire, right now. But was able to start a color pencil drawing, to demonstrate how to layer the colors, for my students. 😀. Not finished yet, but getting there.
