My friends Chris and Bev went to collect a hedgehog last night, it was found in the gutter in Wolverhampton with its nose through the grid of a drain trying to reach water.

starts today! To kick it off we want to start a campaign to encourage people to create hedgehog highways in thier garden & community! Send us a selfie of you with your hedgehog highway & you could win a BHPS sign!
Give a hog a home! 🦔🏠 Especially during winter & mating season, hogs need somewhere warm, dry & safe for them & their hoglets to sleep. You can buy houses or if you're a dab hand with a hammer & drill, have a go at making one or simply make a log pile!
Another way to help hedgehogs in your garden is to leave an area to go "wild". It doesn't have to be massive, but will make a big difference to foraging hogs! Why not plant some wildflowers too? have a great selection including a hedgehog mix! 🦔
Next week is BHPS'S Hedgehog Awareness Week and we want to give you a heads up about our competition! Our HFC team needs a mascot and we want to see your ideas! 🦔
