He built it for his wedding to Elizabeth, the very first wedding at The Old Dairy Barn and has been used in every wedding since. Monte has made lots of our custom unique features and we are so very grateful to have him apart of our family!

This old Ford tractor. What a story it has. It is a very special thing here for The Old Dairy Barn family. Some may know the story and some may not. You see this tractor is from the early 60s or late 50s (not sure what year exactly) and was Cecil Lewelling’s. Cecil used this tractor on his ranch up until the day he passed away at 92 years old, exactly a year ago today. You can only imagine the stories this tractor could tell if it could talk. When I asked my Aunt Kelly for some pictures and stories she said that all the babies would ride on the tractor with Pa Cecil. She also said that Cecil would take all the kids out on a hay ride for Halloween and one year he even put on their own parade for the 4th of July down their road. If you know ranchers you know just how special their tractors are to most of them and this one was no exception. We are so so honored to have been able to get this tractor and it is so cherished.

Meet the family behind the scenes at The Old Dairy Barn!!

Jason & Monica Sanderson are the property owners and parents of the team! They are team leaders and do all of the business operations. (Jason is on the right end & Monica is on the left end)
•
Elizabeth and Monte Stanton are the ones that gave The Old Dairy Barn it’s purpose. Elizabeth is the daughter of Monica and Jason, and Monte is her husband. Monte does most of our maintenance of the property and builds our amazing barn wood features! Elizabeth helps plan our events and handles client communications! (Elizabeth and Monte are the two in the middle)

Maison Sanderson is Monica and Jason’s youngest daughter. She helps work most events as well. She also runs our social media pages! (Maison is the second in on the left)

Part of what makes our venue so unique and and fun is that it’s a small family run business! We have so much fun working together and being able to be apart of your special moments.

Been a little quiet on the social media’s lately… but we haven’t had a quiet time here at The Old Dairy Barn. We finally have a live website!! Go take a look!!👀
