"He Blesses Me"
Keilah was 20 years old when she found herself experiencing great heartache - living isolated with an abusive partner and grieving the loss of a baby girl that was born premature without breath.β €

Breaking free from that abusive relationship was far from easy, but God made a way. One night, Keilah desperately fled from her aggressive partner and sought refuge at a local petrol station. Hyperventalating, the store employee saw her distress and explained that the police were about to arrive due to a disturbance that settled moments ago. It's because of this miraculous timing that the police were at the scene just as her abusive partner arrived; arresting and restraining him from ever being in contact with her again. Keilah knows God stood up for her countless times throughout the process of his restraint. She returned to her family with nothing but a suitcase of clothes and a small glimpse of hope.

As Keilah began rebuilding her life from a suitcase, she also began building it on the word of God, sensing God holding her close. They sat together, hand in hand, and Keilah was healing as she drew near to Him.

Just like a caring Dad, God disciplines those that He loves out of kindness. Years passed and Keilah found herself in a relationship. Once again she became pregnant, and in hindsight she is grateful for the that way this surprise pregnancy kept her from trying to hide from God and others. β € β €

Her baby boy lived for 2 days after being born. In the heartbreak of loosing this child, God spoke to her through those around her - removing shame and helping bear the weight of grief. Though the aching pain of loosing her child continues, she can feel God's presence like a robe. In freedom, Keilah chooses to praise His faithfulness to her. She is honest with God and understands that a hungry baby cries out unashamedly for it's needs. She feels safe to ask God difficult questions and openly share her heart, knowing His love for her is reliable.β €

Keilah invites you to, "Come with your mess and unrefined ways. Just lay it at the feet of Jesus. Forget everything you know and just sit with him." β €

I read this quote a few days ago and was so touched by it. I think it beautifully describes a heart of pure worship, and it reminds my heart that this is what I want to be.

Take the below word (Hebrews 1:2-3) and this quote with you today, as your week comes to an end and the weekend approaches 🀎

Hebrews 1:2-3 "But in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven."

"He Adopted Me"β €
Twinkee was 10 years old when she awoke one morning to find that her father had left. Without a note, goodbye or phone call, he was gone. Lacking closure and answers, young Twinkee blamed herself for her abandonment - growing emotionally detached and afraid of men.β €
β €
At a young age, Twinkee's fear of men led to an attraction to women. Years passed, and she grew deep in depression and anxiety. Key figures in her life told her that she would never amount to anything and this statement seemed true to her.
β €
Twinkee was 13 years old when she heard that there was a crusade happening in her Caribbean hometown, St Lucia. Her mother told her that it was unsafe to leave the house at night, but, one night Twinkee had a strange, uncontrollable urge to leave her home and go visit her Grandma who lived only a short walk away.β €
β €
She left and along the way she passed by this crusade. She stopped. It was too intriguing to keep on, so she drew closer. As she did, she heard the preacher speak directly into all of the things she had felt and experienced, like he was speaking directly to her. The preacher called out, asking if anyone wanted to give their life to Jesus and Twinkee came forward. In that moment she said 'yes' and 'I do' to God, desiring to live for him. For the first time in her life she felt like she could finally breathe. She sensed God holding her close like a Father who has a deep, protective care for his beloved daughter. Twinkee's journey to healing and understanding true love began as she took all of her struggles to God and spent time reading her Bible to learn His truth. God has led her to specific people that she could be vulnerable and share her struggles and they helped her walk through it. Twinkee moved to Australia from the Caribbean 2 years ago. Now in Australia God continues to use her to testify to others about the healing, joy and light she has found in Him!β €
β €
Twinkee would like you to know that, β€œGod is faithful to take your β€˜yes’ and do something extraordinary with it. Your journey with Him only gets better.”

15% of all profits from Twinkee's story will be donated to

You can have all this world, but give me Jesus 🀍🎼

β€œThen Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.” Ephesians‬ ‭3:17-19‬ ‭NLT‬‬

"He Carried Me"
In 2016, Eliza and her family emigrated from the Philippines to Australia. Within 6 months of moving, Eliza took up a job in retail. Being a teenager with a language barrier and no prior work experience, Eliza soon faced overwhelming feelings of inadequacy and worthlessness. As time progressed and she continued struggling to fit in, Eliza grew exhausted of trying - physically and mentally she was done. β €
β €
It was when she was on the brink of quitting that God reminded her He had a plan for her. He directly spoke to the lies she had been believing:β €
🌼 She is not worthless, she has purpose. β €
🌼 She is not inferior, she is His. β €
🌼 She is not alone, He is with her.
🌼 She is not weak, He is her strength. β €
β €
Eliza took the desire to quit to God in prayer and spent time reading her Bible to gain His perspective. After doing so, she felt God lead her to stay at that job and He put on her heart that she would be an instrument to reach specific people in her workplace. β €
β €
Eliza trusted God and chose to press on. It's because of this that she has been able to spread the gospel and see incredible miracles happen in her workplace! Her manager's sick husband died in a hospital bed, but was then raised to life. She has provided her manager with a bible which God continues to touch her heart through.β €
β €
Although there were trying times, Eliza now looks back and can see how He carried her through it all. When her heart was unbearably heavy, He carried her burdens and gave her a new heart that was filled with joy.β €
β €
Eliza would love to share with you that, "If you are in a situation where you really want to quit, hang on to that and ask God. God has a plan and He put you where you are because He's working on something." β €
β €
Inspiration for this artwork was found in Isaiah 40:29-31 and Matthew 11:28.β €

"He Accepts Me"
This artpiece was lovingly created by Elisa Faith to communicate how God loves us intimately and wants us to draw close to Him.

Throughout highschool, Rachel noticed a pattern that occurred in her friendships. She would put her trust in a friend and the friend would leave. Over time this rejection felt like too much and she determined that putting on an act was the only way she could attain acceptance.

But, God had better plans for Rachel. He used one friendship to draw her to youth, and it was there that Rachel first felt a touch of God's love. In that moment she experienced freedom from needing to pretend she was someone else as she realised that He accepted her just as she was.

Through hearing and studying the word of God, Rachel began to build her identity to who God says she is. On the days that she feels inadequate and insecure, she holds onto the beautiful trust that she has in her Saviour. He is her defender, warrior and knight in shining armour. This love story is ongoing and through spending time with Him, she is learning how to rise against fear and doubt of her worth.

Rachel wants you to know that, "God meets you at your worst. When you're in a situation where you can't see the full picture, you have to trust the process. Every single thing that happened lead to me getting saved and coming into a relationship with Jesus. It was all worth it."

🀍 Inspiration for this artwork was found in: Romans 8:39 TPT, "There is no power above us or beneath usβ€”no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One."

"He Shelters Me"
This artwork was lovingly created by Elisa Faith to capture how God shelters us from fear throughout the unpredictability of life.

Being a perfectly healthy woman, Jo never expected that a small, unusual lump would lead to a diagnosis of breast cancer. Since that sudden diagnosis, Jo has experieced the emotional rollercoaster that comes with walking through cancer.
Just like how a tree's shade provides us with rest in the heat of summer, the presence of Jesus provides shelter and refreshment for Jo. Under His covering, she finds the courage to rise each day and fight the battle of the mind and spirit. Whilst life and health is unpredictable, Jesus is reliable and trustworthy. Jo dwells in his peace, hope and strength, knowing he will never abandon her.

Although Jo is still in the process of defeating cancer, she stands firm on the promise that Jesus has the complete victory. She would love to share with you that, "sickness does not come from God. He longs to be the healer of your spirit, soul and body. For someone to come into a relationship with Jesus is the most important."

🌻 Inspiration for this artwork was found in Romans 8:6, "the mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace."

🌻 15% of all profits from Jo's story will be donated to the Breast Cancer Network of Australia, find out more about them at www.bcna.org.au

The word of God constantly points us to this important call πŸ‘‰ guard your heart & guide your mind. β €
β €
Today, I am reminded that WE have full control and authority over our thoughts. It's our responsibility to determine which thoughts we will allow to stay and which we command to go away. β €
β €
πŸ‹ You don't feel strong or disciplined enough to do this?? Trust me, neither do I.

So, praise God that we don't do this through our own strength, but through the spirit of power, love and self-discipline that God gave us (2 Timothy 1:7). As we sow invisible seeds of habit into the spirit and not the flesh, we will produce the fruits of self-discipline and goodness (Galatians 5:22-25)!

"He Covers Me"
This artpiece was lovingly created by Elisa Faith to capture how God’s protective care covers Abigail. It is a part of the β€˜Own Your Story’ series.

Throughout Abigail's life, she has struggled with both mental illness (anxiety, depression) and chronic physical illness (pain, fatigue). In the midst of these struggles, just like oil, the love and goodness of God abundantly poor over her; providing warmth and comfort. Her heart knows that God’s grace is abundant and she leans into His sweetness each day. She wants you to know that regardless of your flaws, past, circumstance and self-doubt, the God who created the universe and all it’s splendour thinks that YOU are something special.
β €
πŸ’› Artwork inspiration found in Psalms 23:5, "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows."β €
