Oh Summer…. I see you. Peaking around the corner, wondering if I forgot amongst the monotony of the daily grind. Whispering under your breath in the breeze about the playmate that left you behind.
Give me a second to put my mouse down, I’m coming for you, sunshine blazing. I could never forget you, with your open arms of freedom and warm sandy blankets. Just give me one second, I’ll come play with you for days. I’ll meet you where the land ends and the ocean begins. You bring the white puffy clouds and Ill call the gentle waves in… 🌊

I’m not here for your entertainment, I don’t care if you like me or not, your judgements mean nothing, I have nothing to prove to anyone but myself, this is my life. Everyday I choose how I want to live it with intention. If we are or are not friends, it is not at your fault or mine, it is simply not meant to be at this moment in time. Let the past go, see the future with open eyes, live every moment in your truth and free yourself.

Meet, my almost 14 year old daughter, Brandi… if you know her, you know you’ll never meet a bigger heart, a brighter soul, or a more compassionate human being. She teaches me daily how to walk this earth with more grace and more forgiveness. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, she is STILL raising me. Not the other way around. And I thank God everyday for blessing my life with her spirit in human form.

Austin,TX is our second home. And I have to say if you’ve never been it’s definitely worth the trip! A mini oasis in the state of TX with rolling hills as far as the eye can see, and rivers weaving their way in between the city. It’s such a beautiful combination of city life and nature. It gets harder to leave every time we visit…
