While I was not successful in this run for & I am truly grateful and humbled by the folks who believed in me & took a chance on me in this race. I will continue to do the work, but will follow in the lead of those who were elected to this committee to serve. I am excited for their leadership & still very energized to do what we need to do to move this party forward!! Thank you so much!🙏🏽🖤✊🏽

A huge thank you to my friend for inviting me to take part in this event‼️
Millenials please keep proving the naysayers wrong and showing up & showing out for policies & candidates that represent your interests. The days of simply supporting candidates based on longevity & name recognition need to change. If your representatives sit silent when we need them the most, then why the hell do we keep voting for them???? Please also be sure to cast your vote for Marissa Hutabarat for Judge!! ✊🏽

Since the death of George Floyd, our nation has been in upheaval. We are angry, sad, and overwhelmed. Many of us are using our first amendment right to assemble and to protest racial injustice. ⁣

We are not here to tell you what to think. You get to make your own decision about protests, riots, police brutality, and gun control. ⁣

But let the record stand, anti-racism is not a partisan issue.⁣

We are a non-partisan, impact organization. We encourage those in our community to use their voices to advance society, to listen to and to learn from those around you. ⁣

We recommend listening to black leaders across the political spectrum. We will share some of their thoughts in our Story. For those of you protesting, we encourage you to stay safe. We’ll also be posting some “Stay safe at protests” resources in our Story.⁣

And once again… use your voice. Vote. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

Frontline workers are the backbone of our fight against COVID. We have a responsibility to support them.

That’s why my fiancé and I started the , a call for restaurants and individuals to donate meals to hospital workers and first responders.

Everyone from Emeril Lagasse to Dooky Chase's Restaurant joined in. We ended up feeding thousands.

My name is Iam Christian Tucker, and I’m running to represent you within the Democratic Party on July 11th. I’m a lifelong New Orleanian, President of a 100% female, minority-owned civil engineering firm, and an alum of Emerge Louisiana. I’ve been lucky to serve under leaders like John Bel Edwards and Latoya Cantrell. Now, I want to step up to the plate.

The Democratic State Central Committee and Orleans Parish Democratic Executive Committee are the governing bodies for Louisiana and Orleans Democrats. You might not know their name, but they’re important institutions. They endorse candidates, coordinate with the DNC, and distribute resources. We need these bodies to be as bold, diverse, and experienced as our great state and city.

If elected, I will:
- Stand with
- Support frontline workers and first responders
- Fight to end cash bail
- Aid minority and women-owned businesses
- Push for economic equality and justice
- Empower the LGBTQ community

These elections often come down to a handful of votes. Please share this post with your friends and family!
