Meet

Based in Toronto, Cindy Duplantis has gone from behind the chair to an international stylist and the CEO and Founder of Duplantis Hair Official. Fueled by passion and hard work, her expertise has now taken her all over the world.
As a celebrity hairstylist, Cindy Duplantis has worked with many familiar faces such as Meghan Markle, Niki Taylor, Candace Cameron Bure, Misty Copeland, Tyler Shaw and Margaret Trudeau. She has been educated as a REDKEN artist to spread her knowledge of stylists to other artists in Portugal, Sweden, Las Vegas, the United States, and across Canada. She has worked alongside international designers, photographers and models to create a trend-setting runway look for Toronto, Vancouver, New York, and Paris Fashion Week. Being experienced in working significant events, Cindy has led Toronto Women's Fashion Week, TOM (Toronto Men’s Fashion week), presented at the Grand opening of Fusion, taught at REDKEN Symposium in Las Vegas, styled hair for the Life Ball in Vienna, and has earned a spot as a finalist for both The Contessas and Canadian Hairdresser Mirror Awards. As a Hair Expert on CTV’s THE MARILYN DENIS SHOW, REDKEN’s Styling Ambassador and CHATTERS Brand Ambassador, Cindy believes she can teach her styling skills from behind the chair to her clients and consumers at home.

Meet

Sherry Scott is the proud Owner/Managing Partner of Cute Smiles 4 Kids & Orthodontics with offices in Phoenix, Arizona and San Antonio, Texas. Cute Smiles 4 Kids serves the underprivileged children with top-notch dental care in a state-of-the-art office. It was always her belief that all children should have access to quality dental care in a fun and safe environment. Her passion for children led her to open Goldfish Swim School in North Scottsdale in August 2020 after realizing how preventable drowning was.

Sherry received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. Sherry then went on to receive her MBA from the University of Southern California while working full time at Morgan Stanley. Sherry is a founding board member of Bloom Development, a nonprofit organization geared towards developing future women leaders. She also is a member of the Arizona Dental Association, 100+ Women Who Care, the Asian Corporate & Entrepreneur Leaders, the National Association of Women Business Owners, and Angelina Musik's Enterprising Women's Conference. Sherry enjoys giving back to the community and volunteers often with the local Kiwanis and with Hope Kids, a nonprofit that works to restore hope and transform the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Sherry was born and raised in Taiwan and came to America almost 40 years ago. Sherry now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with her two children. Sherry has a little too much passion for food. She has often said that she has not met a dish that she did not like. If only she knew how to cook! Sherry became a recent board member of the Chaine des Rotisseurs, the world's oldest food and wine society. She weight-lifts as much as possible so she can eat more food. She enjoys public speaking, traveling, film, theater, stand-up comedy, and searching for new and exciting experiences around town to do with her family and friends.

Meet

Sarah has had a decorated career as an athlete and strength and conditioning coach. She felt like she could accomplish anything she set her mind to however, when it came to starting her own family her journey truly began. After a five year struggle with infertility and loss, she and her husband were blessed by adoption.
She is a survivor in the truest sense of the word. Sarah has never met a high heel she didn't like and uses accessories to ramp up ordinary outfits. She has used her zest for life, love for family and impeccable work ethic to conquer her cancer fight and embrace her new recovery body and attitude.

Sarah encourages women to never give up, to always fight hard and when possible look good doing it.

Meet

Amanda spent multiple years travelling the world with teams as an Athletic Therapist. She is also an Educator and Instructor at Sheridan and Humber Colleges. She also ran her own business. All this came to a halt in 2019 when she became ill with an autoimmune neurological disorder.

This dedicated wife and mom of 2 used her rehabilitation skills and her passion for yoga to train the most elite athletes in the world. She knew she would find a way to use them for the best patient she ever had: herself.

While the journey has been long and hard, Amanda uses education, laughter and fashion to make every day a little brighter. Dressing for how she wants to feel continues to be a huge part of her recovery.

Amanda wants people of every size, colour and ability level to be celebrated in fashion and to feel empowed and free, as feeling those things is a integral to healing.

Meet

Dr. MaryBeth Parisi is a board certified Harvard trained Dermatologist. She shares her dermatological expertise in private practice, as Medical Director of a large company and helping advance telehealth as a Doximity Teleheath Fellow..

Her passion for skin care and her entrepreneurial spirit led her to become a Skin Care Consultant and Coach. Allowing her to help other women build a sustainable skin care business at any age while also teaching her top tips to keep those wrinkles away and looking your best after 40.

But her true passion lies with being a Mom of four. Whether she is coaching basketball, volunteering at school or writing a children's book, the time with her children is the most valuable. Always being ready to take on the next adventure with her kids, take on a new business venture, pushing the limits and showing that as a woman being a Mom shouldn’t be limiting. Can’t wait to walk the runaway at NYFW with an amazing group of women.

Meet Mai Tran

Mai Tran

First and foremost I'm an entrepreneur at heart believing that everyone has unique talents that need to be shared with this world; mine being my compassion towards helping people; women specifically!

I'm also a stepmom to a toddler (help!), a former bodybuilder provincial champ, and a retired elementary teacher of 15 years at the ripe old age of 40 thanks to my entrepreneurial pursuits; many of which were complete failures lol, but it only took 1 to make my life goals become a reality.

I'm now focussing mainly on empowering women with their finances. so that they too can generate passive income and set themselves up for generational wealth!

Not to mention I'm 4 foot 11 inches, so hopefully I won’t confuse the audience in to thinking they're at a children's fashion show ....LOL just saying.

Meet Joann Martin

Jo-Ann Martin is a proud Canadian with strong Jamaican roots. For the last 18 years, she has worked as a Sign Language Interpreter providing communication access to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community at large. The bulk of her childhood was spent in a dance studio and her passion for health and fitness today is a direct result of many years on the competitive dance stage. In addition, she manages her own online business in the health and wellness industry.
Jo-Ann is a daughter, sister, friend and the BEST Auntie ever- but don’t call her “mom”! This fierce childfree advocate is always ready to challenge society’s assumption of the “role a woman is supposed to play”. Her Black is beautiful and she’s ready to slay the runway!

She is the queen of inspiration!

Lakina Fulks is a best-selling author. She’s a wife, mother of 6 and an entrepreneur of several businesses. With a BA in Business and a Master’s Degree in Social Justice, Lakina strives for justice and advocates for marginalized groups by helping to amplify voices that have repeatedly been silenced.

She is the founder of “The Treasure Within”- a non-profit organization serving women and girls aged 8 to 19. This organization’s mandate is to empower, uplift and motivate young women so they too can realize their own dreams and goals for the future.

If that wasn’t enough, Lakina also hosts her own talk show: Believe in Yourself. You can catch her on the SMD Live network, iHeart Radio and her own YouTube channel. Lakina believes there are hidden treasures in everyone- especially women in business. It’s time to follow Rihanna’s lead and bring those hidden treasures to the surface to shine bright like a diamond!

Meet Ashley Grottoli- founder, inventor and CEO of “Peekabras Bra Skins”, in partnership with “It’s Love Clothing Company”. Women over 40 are rarely given a seat at the fashion table. If they are involved in the design process, their creations are seldom seen on the bodies of their peers- but rather children, tweens and “generation…what letter are we on?” There’s no denying it, thigh gaps and single digit size labels still rule the runway.
