Mrs ABC,P2L2, PND 0 delivered at GH referred from there in view of cervical tear with uncontrolled bleed. On vaginal exploration cervical tear noted with bleed with bleeding noted from uterine cavity, despite multiple sutures vaginally patient continued to have fresh bleeding, proceeded with Laparotomy.

Intraoperatively B/L broad ligament hematoma noted with extension of cervical tear into lower uterine segment

Proceded with peripartum hysterectomy and B/L internal artery ligation. Patient shifted to ICU on ventilator, bp maintained without inotropes. Urine output 1000ml.

Here is a case Mrs ABC aged 28 years who came with complaint of lower abdominal pain since two weeks with vitals stable .

Uterus -normal ET-6mm,Left o***y -normal. Tumor markers :Ca -125,Ca 19.9 ,Cea : normal. She was retropositive and known case of Tuberculosis. Intra operative finding : 1)Two cysts on right side one measuring 10* 15 cm and other measuring 5* 10 cm 2)Right fimbriae stretched on o***y 3)the o***y had undergone torsion (2 twists )and gangrenous 4)hydrosalphinx of right tube . 5)left o***y and tube normal PROCEDURE:Right sided salphingo -oophorectomy
