𝐓𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐞𝐭:
• On the outter corner of the lashes, it may be difficult to tell but it naturally grows downwards vs. the rest of the lashes. In order to combat that, I use a lifting technique to blend it well with the rest of the set vs placing it regularly and have it droop. You could also use a stronger curl, but I personally like the look of a more relaxed curl to elongate and keep the flow 🫶

Today we dissect one of my most desired sets, the natural wispies.

𝐀𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐞:
•All CC
•0.05 Spikes (𝘢𝘥𝘥𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘱 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘱𝘺 𝘵𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦)
•0.03 Base (𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦)
•Most importantly, 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 to create a clean set, and allow the wispy spikes to stand out. The base with open fans can be more forgiving with poor directional placement but don’t be her and try your best 😌
•I always do my spikes first and then the base. For spikes I like to use 2-3 for each section (if the lash line permits) just so if one falls, it won’t look super bare. With this in mind, I’ll pick up less fibres per spike in order to create a spike bundle that isn’t too chunky when blended together. If I can only place one spike in a section, I’ll grab more so that it can match the rest. Perhaps I’ll swap to 0.03 so it can be lighter yet thicker.

Goodbye to the false lashes that constantly need reapplication, are time consuming and just pulls out your natural lashes (we all know that no one carefully removes those babies).

𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞:
Typically when doing sets, I prefer not to jump lengths. For instance, the mapping showcases a jump from 13 to 15MM with the spikes. Jumping spikes can give an odd slope within the set and throw off the entire look. For this set specifically, I chose to jump up 2 lengths because that area of the 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐬𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝. Since the lashes are growing straight down in that same section, I used a 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐥 to combat and 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐚 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐯𝐨𝐢𝐝 𝐚 𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞. Doing these kind of adjustments allowed my client to achieve the natural cat eye look she wanted and a 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 = 𝐚𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 💛

Set Recipe:
•Mix of CC/C curls to texturizing
•15-10 spikes
• 13-7mm base
• I like making my base layers really short in order to achieve a super nice dark lash line! Sometimes I’ll even go 4 lower than the top layer to achieve a darker base.

Did someone say strip lash? 🤭 Today’s look is a hybrid strip lash set created with love and precision ❤️ UGHH can’t get enough of it 😩😩

How to Speak to Your Lash Artist: A Small Guide

1. Be kind to your lash artist! I always try my best to be very accommodating, but sometimes there just isn’t any leeway in the schedule. I mean you don’t have to kiss ass(unless you want too….) but just be kind. Understanding the situation and sending kind messages builds better bonds in the long run. Your lash artist will appreciate you and feel at ease 🫶.

2. Any job is exhausting when you work hours on end. Some people think lashing is not so hard because you “just sit there” but I promise you it’s not as easy as it looks. If your lash artist says no, don’t try to force them to fit you in beyond what they’re comfortable with. You’ll cause strain in the relationship and they might even feel less likely to take you on as a client. Respect your lash artist and they’ll love you🥰

3. Scientifically researched at StyleAN Beauty that if you mention hotpot, you’ll instantly be their fav client. 🌝

These are pretty basic points but I felt that I had to address them. Lash Artists are people too, so treat them how you’d like to be treated🫶

Today we ignore all other photo editing projects and place this beauty on top 😌 Textured 𝐌𝐞𝐠𝐚 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐬 to give you that full density without a caterpillar look!

𝑺𝒆𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒆:
• 17-13mm Spikes

• Mix of CC/D/DD
• It’s important to look at your 𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐞𝐲𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐝𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to choose your curls + Mapping! For this set I made sure to use DD/D curls specifically on the ends as her eyes naturally droop. If I used anything lower than D, it would accentuate the droop and not look flattering at all! Mid sections - inner corner are D curls (for spikes) and CC (for the base).

𝑺𝒆𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒄𝒊𝒑𝒆:
•I always love mixing my 𝑫 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑪𝑪 curls when creating 𝒕𝒆𝒙𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒔𝒆𝒕𝒔. I personally find a full D curl is a bit too “𝒖𝒑” for my liking, depending on eye shape and lash growth of course.
•I almost never use D curl in the inner if it’s 10mm and lower, or else they just look like a over-processed curly perm and not flattering at all. If the growth of lashes are downwards, I may reconsider 🤣
•8-13MM lengths with just a few 14MM sprinkled at the end for that stronger swoop.
