Phase one completed for my client. The weeds have been defeated! All three of the beds, the paved path and the patio area were thick with all sorts of weeds. Now the beds are ready for planting, the path and patio are clear and the lawn has had a final cut 🌻

Winter is just around the corner (maybe) so now is the time to put your garden to sleep. Now is a good time to think about having things like unwanted ivy and shrubs removed. I have a limited amount of slots left for pre-winter tidy ups so don’t hesitate to give me a call or send me a WhatsApp 🌻

Phase two of project garden clearance. So nice to see it taking shape 🌻

Tropical garden put to bed. Tree ferns and banana plants stuffed with straw and wrapped in fleece to protect from the cold and frost. Just need to add a layer of hessian over the banana plants for extra protection 🌴

Bit of a project started today, clearing this client’s garden. The weeds have taken over but not for long - love the result of a good wedding session 🌻❤️

More lawn edging today. Before and after pics 🌻

So, I need to remember to start taking before and after pictures of the work I do - I am so keen to get started that I often forget!! Last week I tidied and dug over a client’s border before tidying up the edging. I forgot to take pictures before I started digging over 🤦🏼‍♀️ The bed was full of campanula and alstroemerias that the client didn’t want anymore and the weeds had taken over as well. Another tidy up job. Small riverside area that needed a bit of tlc……once all the work is completed it will be a beautiful area for my clients to sit and relax ❤️🌻

A tidy up of my client’s flowerbed today. Once the weeds are removed the flowers and plants become visible again. I love weeding, it’s so therapeutic and the end results are very rewarding. Want to add some spring and early summer colour to your garden? Between September and December is the time to start planting out those lovely spring bulbs - Alium, Crocus, Daffodils, Narcissus, Tulips, Fritillary - there are so many to chose from to give your garden a much needed boost of colour after the winter months. How about trying them in a lasagne pot - plant bulbs first then top with winter bedding plants, watch your bulbs spring to life when the bedding plants are coming to an end.
