Absolutely devastating news from Moles announcing an immediate closure of a venue with 45 years of history.

This highlights a massive problem that venues up and down the country are facing, rising costs and diminishing returns that will lead to the end of social night life in many towns and cities.

please support your local venues, support unsigned artists, and you won't regret it. 23 Bath St could face the same fate which would mean the end of What's My Age Again and 23 Laugh St - Comedy Club.

times are hard for everyone and if you have a choice between paying entry to any of my nightclub events or buying a drink or two while there then drop me a message and we'll let you in for free (numbers permitting) - I'd much rather you spent your money in the venue than not at all.

Dear wonderful people of Frome and further afield, we are approaching our 9th Birthday which is an impressive feat seeing as we are the first and only independent, alternative, late night music venue in Frome! 🙌🏼🥳

When we began, we didn’t even know if
we would even make 3 months but 9 years later, we have refurbished the entire building and garden (remember the asphalt car park?) and thrown parties for ¼ million customers! (That equates to every person in Frome nearly 10 times over!) Well done everyone!!!! 🥹☺️

Unfortunately, right now the grassroots music and nightclub industry is struggling across the country. 125 small music venues and over 100 nightclubs in the last year
have closed and it’s not improving.
Ticket sales and attendance are down and costs are up across the board. 😞

23 Bath St is in the same boat as many venues across the country and we are feeling the pinch more than ever before.
We don’t want to get to the point where the doors have to close… But without some changes, and without your support, that could sadly happen. 😳

Frome best Loft Party is moving! (downstairs)

That's right, in 2024 all of our Friday events will now be in the main bar of 23 Bath St, which means bigger and better events.

Well we’re working on something to solve that!
At our events you’ll be able to scan a QR code and Send you requests direct to the DJ!

We're going to use tonight's event as an opportunity to raise a bit of cash for the mental health charity MIND.

Good music and good times with good people are a great tonic for combating loneliness and depression BUT these are only short term fixes. Nobody is alone and charities like MIND do amazing work to support those who need a helping hand when they need it most.
