We went away interstate during school holiday, and was supposed to be sunny state, but it wasn’t. And this week, Melbourne’s been so cold and wet 🌧️☔️
So you can’t blame me fantasising blue sky and warm sun 😄

Every illustration and design turns out better when I sketch out a rough composition.

I started this design as I stumbled upon art submission for their 2025 Mother’s Day special gift. But when I saw it, it was too late for me to focus on completing the design while I went into the holiday travel. I still love the concept and how it turned out. I completed it on the plane returning home and I found that I worked the best on the plane ✈️ 😅

Messing around. No inspiration. Overwhelmed. Creative block. Exhaustion in the midst of a very long school term. No agenda. Just paintbrush on paper. Not amazing. But it is ok. I looked after my soul just to slow down and create. This road is not always beautiful and straight. But we need to show the lows as part of the journey.

Another holiday design challenges I’ve entered from one of my previous design. With a change of colour palette, it looks christmassy with a modern twist. Love beautiful stationary produces 🤩✨

Now I understand for designer, how the seasons can be so upside down. First time joined challenges. It took a bit for me to really get the hang of what the requirements were. But I had lots of fun designing this holiday photo card designs. Definitely will do again 💗

Drew this motif inspired by mini free course 2 weeks ago. But I never managed to complete the whole trail pattern this time round. A fun exercise drawing something that’s pretty tricky type of florals for me.
