Hi everyone, so this week I have been fishing for whelk every day with good success and the weather has been kind....Sadly this means I have not had time to explore other methods to catch a bit of fish to advertise here..however there will be another landing of lobster tomorrow and there is always the option of a bit of whelk if your brave enough!! I generally target whelk from January - June with the exception of a bit of crab and lobster and the occasional day targeting bass, then from June - December it’s on the nets for a variety of fish species as well as the crab and lobster. I hope those of you that have already purchased some shellfish from me have enjoyed it...if you haven’t already then perhaps today is the day to place an order. 5 pairs of small lobster available @ £15 per pair and 3 pairs of medium lobsters @ £20 per pair. Good afternoon all...after a hot but lovely day fishing for the whelk I managed a few strings of lobster pots on the way home. Had some pre orders this time from people that missed out on the last landing so just two small and two medium lobsters on offer. Can be dropped to your door in the Sid valley this evening. Please message me to this page if you want them....First come first served. I will hopefully be out chasing some bass and po***ck towards the end of next week for those people waiting for fish. So here was my lobster lunch. Large lobster...Simply boiled for 10 mins then on the BBQ for a further 3 mins with a Mango,Lime and Chilli dressing served with a simple salad and B+B with a cheeky little beer!

Last 3 options.....and last chance to get some lobster for about a week looking at the forecast. The large lobster can be bought individually now at £12.50 each...each lobster will feed two people comfortably. The medium is a 1-2 person feed and the nelsons are perfect for making lobster salads or pasta. I can still deliver in Sidmouth up until 8pm this evening. 😀

Ok...we have a landing of lobster tomorrow. They are live lobster sold at £16 per KG....that’s less than half the price of the live lobster sold from the tanks in the farm shop on the way to Exeter. I have just 20 lobster and the average size is 400-600grm. Minimum order of 1kg or 2 lobsters. I will be delivering to doorsteps in Sidmouth/ Sidford and Sidbury around 5-6pm tomorrow. All you need to do is message me with your order and include a phone number and your address. I will come to your door and place your order in your saucepan ready for you to add hot water and cook!! You can either pay via cash or cheque by leaving it outside your door. This method should give peace of mind and there is no need for contact. Please message me this evening to place your order. Thanks to everyone that is taking the time to like the page, this is going to be quite fun and a little tricky but I want to try and see where it goes.
I will be sharing my daily catches as soon as they are on the boat and then aiming to sell them direct to you at a better than supermarket price!
This way you can taste the freshest fish possible, caught locally and sustainably without even leaving your home!
