We regret to inform you that Butler Wine Bar has made the difficult decision to close. Our final service was Wednesday 1st March.

We have been so grateful for the relationships with our guests, suppliers and the exceptional hospitality community in Brisbane. We’ve hosted a few amazing parties, drank an incredible amount of beautiful wine and crafted dishes that will remain in our memories. We very much hope they stay in yours too.

From the bottom of our hearts, we would like to thank everyone who played their part or came in Butler Wine Bar. Butler could not have been what it was without your support and loyalty.

Come join us for a fun and festive summer party featuring Tarte pastries, and a selection of some of Australia’s most exciting winemakers brought to you by .
You will be able to feast on delicious tarte pastries by Lune, with 2 savoury sensations in Mushroom & Blue Cheese and a Nduja, Tomato & Soft herbs tarte. Plus, a sweet tart for all the dessert lovers, in a Peach, Vanilla & Almond tarte.
Cork and Co.’s Logan Moore will be pouring from a selection of exciting winemakers, including LATTA, Koerner, Jilly, Sven Joschke plus a selection of rare and unique wines from the winemakers private cellars.

For many First Nations people in Australia, January 26 isn’t a day for celebrating. This is a view shared by Butler Wine Bar.

We acknowledge that Butler operates on stolen Turrbal land, and pay respect to their Elders, past and present, and the Aboriginal Elders of other communities who may be here.

While Butler will be open for trade on January 26th, we will not be celebrating as this is clearly hurtful to many First Nations People. As a business, we will always seek ongoing dialogue and idea sharing in ways we can continue to make further strides as business leaders to encourage Indigenous self-determination and recognising Aboriginal Sovereignty.
