We are ONE month out from Spring Equinox🌸

Tenacious Training is hosting an open flow to complete 108 sun salutations which is a yogic tradition. The completion of sun salutations allows yogis to connect mind and body with nature to embrace the change of seasons.

It usually takes most people between 45 to 60 minutes to complete the 108 and it is so satisfying to finish!

I will guide you through a few, but I will also be walking around the room to offer modifications and tips to complete your best sun salutation A and/or B.

This session is considered a workshop and is just $10. Punch card punches are not accepted at this session.

This is something that grinds my gears.

When I was first applying for jobs right out of college a gym told me “You won’t have a success story like the other coaches.” I didn’t know what that meant and the interviewer quickly gathered that. He then responded, “You’re already fit and in shape. How do we attract more clients with that?” I was dumbfounded and was not offered the position. Who says that? My progress is relatable to someone. Believe me.

BUT

The saying “pics or didn’t happen” has made social media a storm of pointless snapshots. It then shifts mindset into thinking “well now I have to compete.” No no no. Stay strong and confident and do you 👏🏼

I’m proud of my current shape, strength, and endurance level - even without posting it.

Nothing against people who do post their shape, I just hope you are doing it for the right reasons 💛 Not because you feel required.

Happy Tuesday💙

I have been wanting to host a challenge for a while and I am finally getting the details in order. I hope you join me for Tenacious Training's first one!

Starting March 1st each participant will record at least ONE mile of movement each day in March🍀 That's 31 miles.

-There is a $15 entry fee. Half will go towards the winner's pot. The other half will get you into the accountability group chat as well as 2 in-person meet-ups throughout the month. (Time/Dates TBD)

-Each participant MUST upload the mileage to Strava or MapMyRun each day🏃‍♂️This can be via bike, run, walk, treadmill, etc.....attending a Tenacious Training class/workshop will count as a mile for the day!

-If you complete the challenge your name will be put into a chance to win a stainless steel blender bottle with the TT Logo on it🥳 There is only ONE winner.

I know I’ve shared something similar before but this one is just too good 😂

People are so afraid to come to class but will gladly spend way more money to see a chiropractor, masseuse, etc. Sometimes you gotta do things yourself! Especially practical things you can take home with you and repeat over and over again.

I am hosting my first ever mobility class 🥳 It is on Monday 2/19 at 6:30 pm. I hope to see my regulars and some new faces🤩 Drop any questions below.

A peek inside my brain as I create a yoga flow ✨

I enjoy the creativity and the mindfulness that goes into the theming and breath work of a 45 minute go ahead class.

I use two yoga decks to pick a few poses out and see how they work together. Sometimes I have to rearrange it all and sometimes it goes quick!

A little to remind you how lucky you are to move your body.

Haven’t you ever been sick and bed bound just aching to move again?

Have you ever been laid up from a surgery counting down the days to go back?

Of course, we all have.
Yet we take advantage of the time we think we have. As soon as it’s gone you miss it. Your limber, agile, mobile, young, strong body is not going to stay that way if you lay around. GET 👏🏼 AFTER 👏🏼 IT 👏🏼

February schedule all in one place! (Cannot believe it's February already)
NOTE I have two evening options this month🥳

2/1 is a 6:30 pm vinyasa yoga class
2/19 is a 6:30 pm mobility class

Pound + Yoga is on 2/17 at 8am for a just under 2-hour class!

All classes are 45 mins, have Facebook events, and are $10. You are only required to bring a mat.
