UPDATE ON MY HURT KNEE! 😭😞
so I have done the don'ts of working out!
I was diagnosed with patellar tendinitis!
Patellar tendinitis also known as the "jumper's knee": is inflammation of the patellar tendon. The patellar tendon connects the bottom of the kneecap (patella) to the top of the shin bone (tiba).
There are stages to this I'm currently stage 3:
Stage 1: there is pain only after activity
Stage 2: you have pain during and after activity
Stage 3: you have pain during and after activity that limits your ability to do activities.
Stage 4: the tendon tears and SERVERLY limits your activity.
What are the causes?:
Repeatedly stressing the tendon. The stress will cause the tendon to stretch, swell, thicken, or tear.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH TO STRETCH BEFORE WORKING OUT! LOL Loosen the body up so you do not hurt yourself! Doctor said rest the knee, ice it, and elevate the knee! I can currently ONLY do upper body work outs so glad I took the time finally to figure out what is going on!!

Preheat oven to 375
Cook for 15 minutes
