The only way I can get Hedwig to eat her greens: Lizard meatballs. All ground chicken organs, whole fish, in-shell eggs, turkey and a little beef mixed with fruits and veggies. I froze 15lbs worth of this stuff today. She better be grateful lol.
And yes, she's biting her plate. She makes up for what she lacks in brains with beauty, thank you very much.

Happy second birthday to Hedwig!

Finally warm enough weather to take Hedwig outside. She enjoyed a fresh egg in the sunlight (she still has yolk in her nostrils lol) and tolerated her harness fairly well, considering she hasn't worn it in almost a year.

Hedwig has the most docile and tolerant personality 🙂 I love that she just goes with it. She's such a good girl. Merry Christmas from my scaley puppy.

My baby dinosaur is one year old today! She got fat on some reptilinks, had a nice warm bath, went for a car ride and got some natural sunlight and cuddles. I'm not sure how she felt about the birthday hat and tutu my daughter made her, but she knows we love her! Lol. Happy hatch day Hedwig 💜🦖

Hedwig is enjoying all the extra space. All of her lights (most are cropped out) were kind of a pain to install, but I finally got the heat gradient just right. She can burrow in the substrate on the one side and has a much bigger water bowl for her to p**p in 😂

Hedwig loves sunning herself in the warm grass. She was a good girl today, as usual. I especially like when she stands up tall to get a better look at her surroundings.
*Disclaimer: She doesn't wear her collar in her cage, nor is it attached to the leash/harness. Its only purpose is literally because I think she looks cute and it makes her more approachable to people so we can educate them about reptiles 😁💜 (It also slips right off)

I love that Hedwig seems to soak up the exercise and interaction when I take her outside. She is doing awesome meeting people and is completely comfortable with new things. She walks around sniffing, digging, laying in the sun and just generally exploring. I'm always careful not to have her out unless it's warm enough and I make sure not to have her out too long. I bring her carrier and blanket so if she gets overwhelmed, she can go in and I'll know when she's had enough, although that has yet to happen. I captured some pretty cool shots of her today, especially the one of her and the rainbow. Can you see it? It's not a filter, just a neat flare from the sun.
