Pro force is looking for an Office administrator
Based at our nursery in the heart of the New Forest, the successful applicant will be required to work within a small team. You will report to the Operations Manager and the Production Manager, ensuring all administration carried out to the highest of standards. This will require some flexibility of working patterns due to the nature of the role.
You will be required to proactively assist team members to maintain the highest standards on one of the leading nurseries in production Horticulture
Roles and Responsibilities:
ORGANISATION & ADMINISTRATION:
To ensure good communication at all times with the rest of the team and within the business as a whole ensuring that the appropriate channels of communication / reporting are followed.
To accurately assist with data entry onto our Growmaster database. This will include customer orders and production records.
To liase with the agency when required
To answer phone messages from our customers and other areas of the business and deal with accordingly.
OPERATIONAL:
Ensure that all tasks are being performed to Best Practice
Ensure that paperwork is accurately completed
Query any discrepancies with paperwork and rectify
Develop understanding of Growmaster enabling orders to be entered etc.
Ensure that the office areas are kept clean and tidy.
COMPLIANCE:
To ensure Newey Group Best Health and Safety practices are followed.
In busy periods, fair participation in overtime and weekend jobs when necessary
To take any necessary action to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other members of the Team. To report any Health and Safety issues to the Operations Manager immediately.
Ensure all accidents are dealt with in accordance to H&S document and current law.
To carry out other tasks that the Company may reasonably expect to be done and that are within the capabilities of Despatch Supervisor.

LOGISTICS CONTROLLER REQUIRED!
Location: West Sussex
Temp to Perm – paying £20,000 per year on permanent
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
To take responsibility for all Physical Logistics processes and supporting administration in the Pack house
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
• In loading of Materials (Raw, Packaging, Pallets and general supplies)
• Efficient Neat Out loading of Packed Materials and Raw Product where necessary
• Liaison with supplier and customer transport representatives / drivers
• Accurate picking of Stock for Customer
• Enforce a stock rotation system.
• Ensuring that logistics hourly paid labour is managed effectively.
• Pro-active organising of staff duties to fulfil daily requirements.
• To ensure that the Storage and Oder creation areas are free from rubbish and tidy and compliant with Food Hygiene and HAACP requirements
• Accountable for the accuracy of paperwork.
• Make sure the external surroundings are kept tidy and free from build up of waste
• Ensure that all stock is always fully accounted for and traceable through all processes back to origin
• Ensure that all visitors to the Pack house are accompanied and signed in and out.
• Accurate control of all returnable customer containers / pallets
• Comply with all Company and Health and Safety Regulations
• Comply with all Company Environmental Objectives.
• Liaise with production product quality.
• Liaise with Supply chain on stock availability.
• Liaise with production on daily scheduling to meet outbound transport
• Accountable for the accuracy production records and staff related documentation
• To escalate all issues and roadblocks that prevent normal working practice to the Supply Chain Co-ordinator
Role Objectives / Goals / Targets:
• To learn all areas of the Logistics function as detailed above
• To support continual improvement of all Logistics and administrative / IT processes
• Be able to communicate effectively to all staff at all levels
• Ability to interpret product and customer requirements.
