Glitterlust Press Submission Guidelines-

Glitterlust is now taking queries at [email protected]. Please limit the query letter to 3-5 paragraphs with a synopsis of the story/book proposed and a tentative length. Please DO NOT send manuscripts or writing samples until requested after Glitterlust receives and responds to a query. If a query is accepted, we will request a sample of your writing and/or an excerpt of the work You are proposing and we will then share guidelines for formatting at that point. PLEASE DO NOT submit full manuscripts without such being requested.

In a world and market that is made up of all types, Glitterlust Press announces its opening as a publishing house aimed at providing readers with the best in erotic fiction with a focus on what many consider alternative lifestyles or fringe elements. This will include but not be limited to various forms of sexual expression, orientation, and exploration of fetishes and kink.

“Glitterlust Press,” says sorella smith, Editor in Chief, “desires to be a publisher that provides writers of what may be considered fringe erotica a place for their stories and especially for readers who are looking for the stories that fit their tastes, even potentially more extreme ones. With that said, we will not be accepting all comers, but instead be looking for quality work. We want to be a positive voice in this field. Erotica is a valid form of literature and Glitterlust wants to present only the best.”

Glitterlust is a royalty only publisher and will equally divide all royalties received with accepted authors after publishing costs are covered. Glitterlust Press plans to publish in print and digital formats for some titles, while some will be only in digital. Works eligible for print publication should be a minimum of 30 thousand words in length. To be eligible for digital only, works must be a minimum of 3000 words in length. Glitterlust Press will also accept story collections from single authors. Glitterlust Press will be seeking first print and digital rights.

Glitterlust Press is a Publisher of erotica, not necessarily a publisher of romance. If there are questions about the difference between the two, please ask those during the query process. Submissions will be judged on content of query and, if that is accepted, quality of work overall.

Glitterlust is interested in stories of all genres, from science fiction to western to fantasy to genres not even imagined yet, as long as the stories also qualify as erotica by Glitterlust standards.
Currently, Gliterlust Press plans to publish its initial works in mid to late 2023.
