5 Weeks to Blaze – Come play on Stage!

Big Bad Wolf and Koasis are hosting a cabaret called “Life is Beautiful” on Sunday immediately after the Temple Burn. We’re looking for a dozen blazers to do some bits on stage, like our last events – I’d love to set the stage for you to share something!

We’re looking forsong, dance, an act, a story or something crazy and are hoping that some of the bits might make people cry tears of joy, sorrow or laughter.

We had Brittney Tyrell serenading us on the uke, Jamie Mac blowing our minds with a comedy song featuring Butsy, Killian Harty bringing Vegas to us, Kesi Young belly dancing and mesmerising, Luciver Raven making it RAIN and Jay J Sticks bringing Josh for a laugh!

Also Dave Watkins and The Fair Weathers opening up and JP Belmondo wrapping it up.

Here's the WINNER of You Beauty! Dr. Jae West - who floored us all by morphing from Red Riding Hood to the BIG BAD WOLF!

We're working on two new events for Blazing Swan 2024 - Neon Caravan and are looking for performers of ALL KINDS - get in touch if you've got a bit you want to share or have been dreaming of doing one!

We LOVE a good show and we're stoked to share with you our second and third place performers from our last event, You Beauty! - cohosted with Aruma Theme Camp.

In third place we have the freaky Bruce D Rose aka Juicy Brucey. In second place, the hardest working secretary of them all, Catrin Enderlein, aka the Squatting Secretary, Sybilia Schultz!

We're currently planning on TWO great shows at Blazing Swan 2024 - Neon Caravan so please get in touch with Joseph Andrin or Big Bad Wolf if you'd like to perform - all expression welcome!

Get WILD at Fringe this season!

Some of B*W's favourite people, the hilarious, WA-based Fringe troupe The Hairy Godmothers, are hosting a big venue hub at Fringe World this year.

This brand-new hub is called Fantasia Hub and it is situated at the Perth Town Hall.

It is running for the entire month of Fringe, from 19th January until 18th February, with the ‘Fantasia Gala: Grand Opening Night’ happening on Wednesday 17th January. (You are invited!! https://www.facebook.com/events/1046029876508114)

They are looking for ALL SORTS of VOLUNTEERS and HELPERS!
🌹To help usher patrons!
🌹To help on the bar!
🌹To dress up and create fun vibes!
🌹To help us set-up fun decorative things!
🌹To make the place a hilarious, magical space!

Depending on what you’re up for, there are lots of things on offer for helpers and vollies:

🌞 free drinks at The Glass Sipper bar
🌞 free tickets to a wonderful array of fringe shows showing at FANTASIA
🌞 a Participant Pass to Fringe World in 2024
🌞 an opportunity to get creative and work with The Hairy Godmothers

If you can’t commit to volly shifts but feel like getting creatively involved, they are ALSO are doing a call out for wonderful helpers that think they might have things to bring to the Fantasia table that will make it even more magical. We want to FANTASIA to look like a castle!!

🙂 This is their first time doing a fringe hub and they are looking for all the help we can get!

They are looking for more creative hands on deck, more ideas, more crafty input, more sparkly things, more lights, more decoration, more magic carpets, more greenery, more furniture, more quirky bits and pieces, more ART! More of anything to make Fantasia more fun, more castley, more medieval, more sparkly, more fringey!!

Gamsky Brahma hope you enjoy this 2 hour set from the "you beauty" event at port beach brewery, blending my fave dnb, breaks, garage selections with gamsky brahma delivering his unique vocal elements on top. we had a good crew on the floor, the funktion ones were crisp and I even had remote control on the visuals...

Presenting our seventh contestant in the You Beauty pageant - Killian Harty! He's a multi-instrumentalist and far-out performer that's more creative than octopus on mushrooms, more handsome than an actual male peacock and more radical than the Rock's new feta ice-cream. Killian is a leader at Shiva's Tea House, an endlessly evolving and influential artist and our FIRST MALE confirmed on the pageant!
