Happy New year 2022 everyone lets hope it is a good one

Tooth Wedge is named by its shape, it is a small end cutoff of another piece.

This piece is part of the "Wood Drift" range, I found a unique piece of driftwood on my local beach and took it home, It sat around on my workbench for quite some time. I loved the deep richness of the dark wood and had no idea until I started working with it that I realised what a prize I had.

Tooth Wedge was inspired when I cut the wood to make another piece, this was the offcut which I then cut in two, this angled wedge just happened so I just started to polish it and shape it from there and this just became. It looks sharp but it has a softness of style, can be worn either vertical or lateral through the piecing and has a rather stylish edge.

Shard (Ear Spike)

This small very "Edgi" piece is stunning, sometimes the smallest pieces can be so much work! This tiny shard is sharp and edgy and caused my fingers to shout at me, but the end result was well worth the pain. Angular with crisp edges so care needs to be taken with this piece of ear art, always use the lubricant provided with this piece.

This ring is 4 mm at its widest point, is suitable for piercings that are well healed.

I have always wanted to make a Whales Tail, it is such an awesome shape and beautiful, but this particular one is a statement in itself. I spent hours and hours refining this piece, the end result is stunning.

It is a 6-8 mm gauge, comes with 2 black rubber rings to assist positioning in your ear, it can go in a larger stretching, as it is 10-12 gauge at the curve.

White Swan is a bone stylised deep swirl design, that can be worn in either left or right ear facing forward or back, you get to choose.

It is a 10mm flat gauge piece to give it's a slim elegant line. This design is very comfortable to wear but best not slept in as most of these types of Ear Art. It creates an elegant look with short or pulled-back hair.

I had no idea as to the finished look this working would take at onset, but thrilled at the result. I usually start with the part where it sits in the ear and I go out from there, this was a chunky piece at the beginning. It would be too heavy for the ear so I thinned it down and then it began to emerge, to create the body of the swan. I hope you like it, I do.

Edgi was a lockdown creation, I have been bone carving since December 19 and with the second major lockdown in August 21 I decided to pass the time by carving. The Edgi Gallery is full of these creations and more.
The Gallery opens 15 November 12am so all the pieces will come availabe on my website at this time. I will post a link tomorrow.
Each piece is unique and will not be repeated so you buy an original piece of Edgi when you purchase.

It also comes with a keeper bag to prevent it from getting scratched, when not in use, as well as some Lubricant Skin Conditioner.

Each Edgi piece of Ear Art comes with a keeper bag and a small jar of Stretching Conditioner. The conditioner is all natural, contains coconut oil, aloe vera, and vitamin E oil. This acts as a lubricant as well as a skin conditioner as some of the can be a bit edgy so it is important to protect your delicate piercing while looking cool. A Win-Win for everyone.

Tired of crappy plastic stretching jewellery, I was, so that is why I started to make my own.
Each piece takes on a life of its own, from the time I pick up a piece of bone, wood, or shell it begins to talk in subtle ways so it will be what it chooses to be, sometimes even in the middle of the working it will change course, it is uncanny really.
I made this piece for myself, I just loved it, then it decided to lose me it just disappeared, 😏 it was gone for weeks, I knew it would turn up in its good time and it did, but not before I had made several more similar but not the same. They are all going into the Gallery on the 15 November launch.
All my pieces are for well-healed stretching and are slightly out of the norm.

The days are ticking by till the gallery launch, we are getting ready.

On August 18 as we went back into lockdown level 4, I decided to get going with my carving to pass the time, that is how it all started. Now I have 2 finished collections ready for The Gallery Launch.
