Have you tested your home for Radon? It is a colorless, tasteless, and odorless gas. Radon has a connection to causing lung cancer. If you haven’t tested your house this is the best time of year. Get a test kit through Wauwatosa Health Department.

It was great knocking doors today with my oldest son. Glad to connect with hundreds of voters. We were having so much fun in the cold I forgot to take a picture.

There are lots of health benefits to knocking on doors such as 21,000 steps. We will be on the Eastside of the Pasadena neighborhood tomorrow (Sunday) before the super bowl.

Wauwatosa Named An 'Age-Friendly Community' By AARP 09/02/2022

Wauwatosa is being recognized by the AARP as an age-friendly city! I've spent most of my career in service to older adults. As a member of the common council I will help us continue to move forward as a community for all people. This includes continued investment in public spaces, affordable housing, transportation, and health services.

Have you visited District 6’s Forest Exploration Center? Luna and I took our walk there this morning. A great place to find tranquility and learn about the forest.

The crews have been working all night to repair the water mains. More leaks were detected when the water was briefly turned on early this morning. Hopefully the water is back on soon.

There have been more Wauwatosa vehicle break-ins in the first three weeks of 2022 than in the first three months of 2021 01/02/2022

Part of public safety for all means working together to confront crime. We all have to do our part to help. With car thefts up nationwide, Chief MacGillis has some common sense suggestions in this article:

- Always take your keys with you.
- Never leave your vehicle running unattended.
- Close and lock all windows and doors when you park your vehicle.
- Never leave valuables, or even loose change, in your vehicle, especially if they can be seen from outside the vehicle.
- Park in well-lit areas or areas with video monitoring if possible.
- If you are able, install an anti-theft system or device such as a horn alarm, steering wheel lock, immobilizing-type device or vehicle recovery system.

There have been more Wauwatosa vehicle break-ins in the first three weeks of 2022 than in the first three months of 2021 Wauwatosa has reported 55 vehicle break-ins in the first three weeks of 2022. 62 were reported in the first four months of 2021.
